Why was my topic removed?

What happened to my thread of “Be careful buying anything from Zen Garage”? Why was it deleted? It was all truthful and accurate with no personal attacks. Is it not allowed to get that information out to the members?

I removed the post, because its only your side of the story and not Zen Garages. Also, this was an ebay transaction and not a vendor. If you would like I wouldnt mind trying to help you with Zen Garage to reach a happy medium.

Thanks for the explanation, I appreciate that. I've seen plenty of other posts on here that were started the same way though so I didn't understand mine being removed. And I've seen plenty of topics warning people about e-bay sellers as well. I disagree with the post's removal but also understand that its your (moderators collectively) board and you get to set the rules and do what you want.

At this point I don't think anything is going to work with Ron. I have tried multiple e-mails and even just offered to return everything for a refund. He didn't respond to any of those. If he will allow paypal to just issue me a full refund then I'll be happy to send back the items that were not as expected.

After you have decided to attack me personally on several forums what do you think I will do to help you out?....Absolutely nothing.

Your endless threads about me on public forums where I post in a social setting is absolutely ridiculous. I am not a vendor on any of these sites. Just a member. Just like you.

You bought a used radio from me on ebay but since I use the same name on ebay as I do here you decided to make this a public battle calling me out on numerous sites. The manner in which you have gone about this is absolutely laughable. It really does make you sound like a whiney bitch. Thats right John, a whiney bitch.

Had you gone about this the right way, the issues could have been easily resolved, but with the actions you have taken, there will be absolutely no effort on my part.

Funny thing is that I have the radio code sitting on my desk. Yep, just sitting on my desk. Will I give it to you, hell no.

At the end of the day, you bought a used radio, advertised as a used radio. You bought this on Ebay, but decided to bring this battle here and on other forums. You basically attacked me in a public forum which does not sit well. Look around buddy. I have more exotics and unusual cars sitting in my garage at home than you will own in your little life. You barked up the wrong tree and pissed off the wrong guy. Do you honestly think your threads will effect me in anyway? Hell no.

At the end of the day John, you bought a used radio on Ebay. IT was never advertised as new. IT was sold as used and removed from a car. Honestly, your pussy is that hurt over some rusted screws? A bent bracket?

Have I mentioned that you bought a USED radio on EBAY? Not here, not lambo power, not talk lambo, you bought it on EBAY, but yet attack me everywhere.

This is not the pissing match section. You asked for his thread to be deleted, I am guessing to avoid one.... so why start now?

Also, this is no way to talk to anyone you have done business with on ebay or elsewhere. Give the man his code too, because the radio wont work w/o one.

I appreciate your opinion slowpoke. thank you.

mr vroom. i will take that under consideration after sendero removes his numerous threads

I deleted Slowpoke's comment. By not supplying the radio code, and admitting so on this forum, m-later should have no problem disputing the sale and getting his money back. Seriously, you are not making a good case for yourself here.

Why would you not give him his code for the radio? Irrelevent if he is pissing you off,he paid you for it and deserves to get a radio that works.

Yeah, i was surprised he did that. I have made a screen shot and printed it out to send to Amex. I'm sure that will add to the evidence they have for finding in my favor and issuing a full refund.

My real suspicion is that he does not have the code at all but is just posturing. In any case, I thnk we've all seen his true colors come through here. He's upset that he treated a customer poorly and that customer called him out where he could. Thats the risk in the new internet world.

Tell ya what Ron, if/when Amex finds in my favor & issues the refund you can send a pre-paid shipping label (well, 2 actualy due to 2 boxes) and I'll still send this stuff back to you. All in the same condition in which it was received. I'm not out to screw you over, I just want this to be resolved and taken care of.

Actually, I called Amex to ask them how to get that to them and they said there was no need. Both Amex & Paypal found in my favor and issued the credit back to me.

Ron - My offer still stands. Send me the pre-paid return shipping and you can have the items back.

The moral of the story.... always use amex for any pal pal transaction! I don't think it would have been that easy with master/visa.

Yup, glad I use Amex for purchases like this. Interesting thing is that at first his auction would not allow paypal/credit cards. I emailed him and he gave me their paypal address. My whole motive there was to use my Amex in case anything went wrong wtih the purchase. Glad I stuck with my instincts on that one.

I have not heard anything from him yet so I'm not sure what to do with the parts. I'll store them for him for a bit and then figure out how to dispose of them.

Sorry that i removed the thread, it just seemed that since you had posted the same thread on several forums that you were out for a lynching. At that point ZEn hadnt replied to any thread and didnt have a chance to defend himself. Once he contacted me I figured the 2 of you were going to work things out, but now having seen his response Im glad you got things worked out as you were clearly entitled to a refund the moment he didnt supply the radio pin number.

As somebody that owns several businesses. AMEX is a double edged sword.

Ever wonder why a lot businesses will not carry AMEX. They give you the standard BS it costs too much. That's not it.

It's because AMEX ALWAYS sides with their consumer customer. Always. Regardless of what proof of contracts, signatures etc. the vendor has..........We process hundreds if not thousand of AMEX transactions a week and while you only get a few deadbeats they always win.....and it costs too much to chase a $250-$500 transaction.

I had a customer with a black card, dispute a $15k charge after she had given three bad amex cc numbers. No reason given other than she was a heroin user getting divorced as we found out. AMX sided with her and it took us 18 months with litigation to get the money back......cost me $5K and she had declared bk in the meantime. So no money. He had to go back to AMEX and sue again and got the $10k back plus our incurred expenses.....only took 2.5 yrs. Not worth it.

We see more and more of this as the economy continues to collapse. If the banks fail....it's all over.

Data point......

FDIC is insured for $60 billion.

INDYMAC Bailout will cost the FDIC $8 billion. 2nd largest bank failure in US history. Being investigated for fraud.

FDIC assets are $60 billion......almost 14% of reserve is gone on one bank.

NPR reported this morning that 90-150 more banks will fail in the next 18 months......do the math. That $100,000 FDIC insurance that keeps the economy stable may be blown out....

Here's a tip for the conservative investor....buy cd's in euro's......get 5% return plus the increased value against a continually declining US dollar. No FDIC issues. Your money is safe.

I can totally understand that Allan, no need for apologies. You made a decision based on the info you had and what you were seeing. I appreciate you all addressing my questions as to why it was done and I did understand your logic. My intention was to get the info out to people in the community. I may have been a bit over-zealous in the breadth of that. I had tried to work it out with him for at least 6 weeks before doing this. In any case, whats done is done and I'm just glad its been resolved.

Btw, can I get my Lambo Owner title now? :)
