How to make money with our cars.

I was in Nice a couple of weeks ago, and stayed at the Palais De La Mediteranee (a very nicehotel) and as you comeout of the revolving door, there is this whole Ferrari setup: A F360 Spyder, 2 F-Fags in full regalia, and F-umbrella for shade.

Prices are pretty steep:

If you let one of the F-Fags drive you up and down the Prommenade (the main boulevard there) it's 49 Euros. You wanna drive, 89 Euros.

Get driven for 1/2 an hour, 130 Euros. You drive the F-Fag around for 1/2 an hour, 190 Euros.

And from the what I could tell, they were pretty busy too. That car nust have paid for itself several time over by

now.

Meh...to tons of people driving or even being driven in a $100,000+ sports car like a ferrari is a dream, and shelling out 50euros to get 15 minutes of something they cant even comprehend owning in there lifetime seems like a great/fun opportunity. i say its good on both sides...they should offer an upgrade in the way of a LP640 roadster for three times the price :)

Haha, I remember seing this guy and his wife with the same F 360 4 years ago by the Michigan Lake in Chicago :D I know that what I am going to say now is very bad, but that car actually looked pretty good with those wheels and spoiler.

When I was in Nice, we went a little further down the coast to Monaco.

They had the same Ferrari tour going on downtown near the Monte Carlo Casino. A 360 Spider and an F355 (which most people don't realise that the F355 only costs around $30,000 used.)

lol... I discussed this business model with many guys over the last several years, a 15 min Lambo tour of Sunset strip for $50 bucks or 1.5 hour tour of Hollywood/Beverly Hills for $250 plus tips..

The deal breaker here is the insurance that you will never get in the US for such rides and you will need an actual Limo license.

That is already being done. I know of, okay I forget their name, but one of the big sports car clubs in Chicago charges people a nice few or renting their prized possessions, I believe like $1,000-$2,500 a day or something.

I, personally, think, despite the risks (thank God for insurance), its a smart move. If you don't drive your Ferrari much, rent it out once in awhile, cover at least some of the costs of ownership. Of course, the mileage will rack up quickly, and no one takes care of your stuff better than you (Lord knows the horror stories with rental cars).
