Would I like this game given my older tastes?

 

Its a very focused game. Set on simulation damage, tuning, physics. Its not just a pickup and race around bumper cars.

 

If it can be tuned in real life, you can tune it on this car. Race for money, spend money for upgrading parts, new cars, etc. The depth is immense.

 

 

Lets see some laptimes! To do hotlaps: Press 'Y' on the track select screen to bring up the leaderboards. While at the leaderboards, press A to start the race in free run time trials. (To race a ghost, press A while highlighted over one of the top names) If you go off track, hit a wall, or use the rewind, you will see a (!) next to your time, and that time won't be submitted to the leaderboards. Has to be a clean lap.

going to be a great game, but wasnt worth the 1.2 gig download for the demo.

Take the first sweeper without braking and the big left hander in third and cut in and go full throttle when the shadow ends. You will drop down to 1 flats gaurenteed.

 

mid 58's are not that crazy.

 

The 57.9 from that one guy is retarded though.

With the wheel and pedals (and paddle shifters), this game is too fun! Apparently Audi put a ton of money and effort into this as well, so that's why you see so much R8 / Murcie imagery. Also, you can drift a lot better in this version, and go through a corner while continually in reverse lock and the tires a burnin'!

Still no xbox internet for me. Guess i have to wait till i move into my house Wanting to play this so bad.

 

Some of the youtube videos posted SUCK. People using suggested line, driving assists, noob driving, etc. I had a lot of top 100 scoreboard finishes, and a few top 10 on a few tracks on forza 2 that i held for quite a while.

Got it down to a 1:00.588 and i kept of Fing up so i am taking a break.

Xbox 360 doesnt have any good steering wheels, its not like the 360 where you can get a high quality logitec, so your only real option is the microsoft standard one.
