Jalpa_Mike Report post Posted April 26, 2011 I just replaced my old incandescent instrument bulbs with the LED units. WOW!!! Talk about a night and day difference!! When I drove the car at night, the instrument lighting was so faint, I couldn't read ANY of the gauges!! Both photo's were made with the Rheostat turned all the way up. I used my Nikon D7000 on a tripod with remote so I could have a longer exposure that really showed the differences. Thanks again to RomanDad for doing all the research and finding the correct bulbs that are literally "plug & play".

Jalpa_Mike Report post Posted April 27, 2011 Mike, can you dim them if you wish? Tell me what bulb to buy. Chadbourn Bolles Hi Chad: Here is the URL to the place RomanDad used. They are only $2.59 each. http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-bin/sto...s%2FWLED-x4.htm I went with "Cool White" and the 90 degree beam. Yes, the rheostat dims them all the way from "Retina peelers" all the way down to where they are so dim it reminds you of what it used to look like!!!! hahahahaha.... rhyno Report post Posted August 24, 2015 FYI my 1989 Countach Speedo has two bulbs (12V T4W 37R) and they are different then the rest. I have ordered OSRAM T4W LED bulbs for the speedo and will test them out when they arrive. The remaining bulbs can be replaced with WLED-W4
