I have gotten into the habit of having both Chrome and FF open at all times. Instead of getting annoyed with browsers if one doesn't work or doesn't do what I want it to do I just switch to the other. Even better, it uses a buffer system type of thing that doesn't freeze the whole browser while it displays all of the search options there might be.
