:lol2: Yeah, what the fcuk was that about? 3 straight PPs and then they gave up for 40 minutes!

The Wings generally have this chip on their shoulder about playing "gentlemens hockey." Thankfully Abdelcader (sp?) is hitting hard! He leads the team in hits and hasn't been with them the whole season. WTF?!

The Wings need a wrecking crew again to work in tandem with their offense.

Hopefully they get this worked out in the off season for next year. I'm counting this year as a loss already! :lol2:

Isn't it going to be Boston or Buffalo?

Roberto Luongo gets my vote for save of the year... did anyone else see the save yesterday against the kings?? I love playoff hockey!!!

That was damn impressive. We've seen a couple of those this playoff season already!

Oh yeah!!!!

Caps got SMOKED; Bruins beat the Sabres; it's looking more like 4, 6, 7, and 8 out of the East!

Poor litle Ovi may still only have ONE series win in his career (which took a miracle comeback to acheive)!!! :lol2:

:jackoff: You might want to actually go to an eye-doctor and get your vision checked and then see a specialist for the mentally challenged.

Great comment! Oh you got me.

To think ANY team would PROBABLY beat the defending champs is idiotic on the face of it. Could it have happened, yes. But, the moon could have crashed to Earth and played defense for Ottawa too but we don't think it PROBABLY will happen.

The moon could have crashed into the earth....stupid. In the last 25 years, only 3 teams have won back to back, so yes it is VERY probable ANY team can beat the defending champs.

Next, to say the refs HELPED Pittsburgh is even more pathetically stupid. Replay clearly showed Rupp's goal going across the line but they ruled it no goal. In Game 5, Kunitz did NOT even touch the puck yet they ruled it no goal. All of the goals that were disallowed against Ottawa had INDISPUTABLE video evidence showing they WERE NOT GOALS. Ottawa got away with an elbow to the face of Letang before making the game-winning rush up ice in Game 5, but I guess that doesn't count.

Next, to say the refs HELPED Pittsburgh...The NHL wants their poster boy Cindy around the playoffs as long as possible.

And WOW, what a disparity in penalties, 32 to 41!!!! My god, it's a landslide. Couple that with the fact that Pittsburgh was 68% on the PK and Ottawa had no chance!! :jackoff:

HAHA! The Pens got away with way more non-call penalties then the Sens. 32-41 isn't the issue, it was the kind of calls that were made. Many of the OTT pen calls were weak. Even the announcers were commenting on that. I bet you even think the hit on Leoplod was illegal. The no-goal calls you are crying about were obviously NOT goals since they are reviewed by the league.

I see why you have 8 posts; you are incapable of typing anything intelligent.

What does 8 posts have to do with anything? I guess I need 5400 posts to make douchebag comments like yours. :bj:

5400 posts might teach you how to use features such as "quote" properly but lets address some other points your idiocy illuminated:

(1) I did 'get you'.

(2) To say that past events have ANY effect on future events uses induction which is irrational prima facie meaning that any inferences made from it can be simply put aside as irrelevant. That aside, your 'claim' states that because the Pens won the Cup, ANY team could beat them. Really? Do you think that the Junior Varsity Girls Middle School team from Jacksonville would sweep them or win in 5?

(3) Yes, of course, the NHL was behind all of the calls! Ottawa never committed a penalty in the entire series; it's a conspiracy! :lol2: Do you still thin the boogey man live sin your closet?

(4) Since you are the expert on 'weak' and 'strong' penalties (i.e., in your head, anyway) we'll let this point just amuse everyone else.

(5) Since the announcer's opinions are the TRUE DECIDING factor in all of this, I guess you HAVE to agree that the Pens deserved to win and were the far better team given that they CONSISTENTLY and UNEQUIVOCALLY said that the Pens dominated the Series from Game 2 on.

(6) I never cried about ANY goals or non-goals; simply stated an observation. And again, since the LEAGUE is infallable (on your view), aparently the Pens really are superior.

(7) As can clearly be seen, my initial assessment of the validity and worthiness of your post was spot-on. Maybe in 5392 posts, you will figure out why and correct the issues.

Good luck!

No, you didn't.

"To say that past events have ANY effect on future events uses induction which is irrational prima facie meaning that any inferences made from it can be simply put aside as irrelevant.", haha, how long did it take you to look up that phrase?

(3) Yes, of course, the NHL was behind all of the calls! Ottawa never committed a penalty in the entire series; it's a conspiracy! :lol2: Do you still thin the boogey man live sin your closet?

Another stupid comment.

Do you still thin the boogey man live sin your closet?...um, what? Nice spelling.

(4) Since you are the expert on 'weak' and 'strong' penalties (i.e., in your head, anyway) we'll let this point just amuse everyone else.

Another stupid comment. I never said I was an expert, I simply said some of the calls were weak.

Again, another stupid comment. Dominated? Most of the games were 1 goal games.

(6) I never cried about ANY goals or non-goals; simply stated an observation. And again, since the LEAGUE is infallable (on your view), aparently the Pens really are superior.

You stated an observation....yeah, just like I did about penalty calls, etc.

As can clearly be seen, you make a lot of stupid comments.

You really are an idiot.

If you think I had to look up the phrase I wrote on induction, you are even less intelligent than your previous posts make you seem.

Those who live in irrational and fallacious-reasoning houses should not throw grammatical stones.

If you STATE the calls are weak and give no supporting evidence you are purporting to make an "Argument from Authority". Since you obviously reason at a very low level, I will give you the Cliff's Notes version of what that means and that is that you claim that your argument is cogent based on the fact that you are an authority on the subject such that any opinion you have carries sufficient weight to sway an undecided person in your favor.

I wouldn't question the validity of the announcer's statement's!! Your prior posts necessitates their infallibility.

I stated something and backed it up (i.e., referred to video replay); you simply made a claim.

Go back to lurking, you have nothing of any value to add.

It is morons like you that ruin perfectly good threads by getting spouting bullshit that is neither funny, clever, nor even slightly factually relevant. You are better off avoiding buttons such as "Reply", "Post Reply", "Quote", and "New Topic".

I initially simply stated my opinion that Ott probably would have beat Pitt if they weren't missing 3 of their top 6 players, and that I thought the refs "helped" Pitt because of some of the calls. You are the one who got all upset and defensive and started with the insults and unnecessary comments. You are the moron who "ruined" a perfectly good thread.

It may be because I hate the Penguins and Cindy Crosby, but this thread just got ALOT more fun!

Always hate what you can't have :)

Always hate what you can't have :)

It's more than just a simple, "I hate them because they got the cup last year." I just don't like his style. He's a cocky little kid. Yeah, he's a good player, but I think there are better and the publicity Sid gets doesn't make him a better player either. I honestly think Ovechkin is a better player than Sid, but doesn't have near the support Sid gets, hence the "better player" idea.

I'm an old school hockey fan, and don't like the direction the game is going. I'll wait and see, but I know my team won't get the Cup this year, but that doesn't stop me from not liking those who win it.

I cant believe how bad the Caps Choked!!! It is like they just stopped trying. that game was sooooo painful to watch! At least the local team I played for is doing well. On their way to Calgary now, Memorial Cup is ours! :icon_pidu:

I'm curious as to to why you think he's cocky when I have never heard him say or do anything other than 'what your supposed to say' when asked loaded questions.

Ovi, on the other hand, says we'll win for sure, we lost, they didn't win, etc. And, if you look at things from a points standpoint, Ovi had a lot more help than Sid.

So Vancouver VS Chicago - predictions?

Anyone surprised at San Jose after the weird stuff they had happen to them in the 1st series?

Will Montreal upset Washington?

Ideas guys?

I really want Montreal to beat Washington; I think whoever scores the first goal wins that game because Washington is so frustrated that if the habs score first, I think WSH will think "here we go again" and throw it in the tank. If WSH scores first, I think that might be the breaking of the dam per se.

Chicago Vancouver will be a hell of series; I think Chicago in 7.

Wow! Detroit decided to show up. They did get lucky with Zetterberg not getting called for delay of game. 3-2 or totally different than 4-1!

I was shocked to be honest. San Jose always makes me nervous. The thing is the Sharks have a long history or choking in the playoffs, but they are due to make it one year. This year may be it. great :lol2:

I see your strategy...Be totally pessimistic and then go crazy when they win! :lol2:
