We washed this 458 after a rally at the St. Regis Hotel. After seeing the scratches on his car, I spoke with the client and he agreed to schedule a full paint correction process with complete engine and interior detail on his ride! Being that we live in Dana Point, Lucci Elite hit the road at 3:30 a.m. for our 6:00 a.m. appointment! We started with the sticker removal, gave it a wash with a full clay bar treatment and it became more evident that this car would have a 360 improvement once our process was completed. Long story short, we finished at 5:00 and take great pride to state the end result is rated at 100% corrected status... the client was simply impressed with the outcome. Enjoy the photos.

Ferrari 458 Italia Correction

It needs the front end shape corrected and the musical exhaust look at the back corrected- then it will be "clean" looking :icon_thumleft:

Turns out its not as exciting as I hoped,

Quick question though. Does anyone know what is the best way to avoid these "swirl" marks in the clear coat? I understand automated washes is a big no no, but doesn't hand washing and moving the dirt around causes this as well?

BTW the car looks amazing guys!

Thank you for the compliment. Never take it through an automated car wash for starters as those are the worst next to idiot dealership washers. To avoid moving the dirt around you should purchase a foamer that will hook onto your hose or pressure washer fill it with some all purpose cleaner also known as a "presoak" foam the whole car let it sit for about 2-5 mins while its eats the dirt for you. Then spray off with water and start your wash from there using side to side and up and down motions, don't use circular motions as they can cause swirls. Use a leaf blower to blow out the crevices so you don't have run off or any hard water spots from it sitting there, and last but not the least the most essential step to not creating scratches purchase some very nice drying towels of high quality.

Those are the towels we use if you are interested I can get you 50 % off.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

there's a lot of unnecessary seam lines and spaces in that clear bra job.

Yes the quality was the worst, but you get what you pay for...
