570-V Report post Posted February 27, 2012 Am i missing something? It looks like these lugs need a special tool and I don't want to mess these up as they are made of titanium and I am sure cost a pretty penny. I looked under the hood and I cannot seem to find the tool for these lugs. Any help would be appreciated guys.
Scotty Report post Posted February 27, 2012 If you order it from Lambo it will be expensive, but it is a Torx T-80 that you can order from a number of places. I ordered one on line for about $40. I too was amazed the car did not come with one.

PCJR Report post Posted February 27, 2012 I picked the tip up at an Advanced Auto Parts store. It might be a T-70 tip. The lp560 tip is bigger, I think that is a T-80.

jefflambo Report post Posted February 28, 2012 Thanks for the help i cannot believe my car did not come with this considering it was $245k LOL. It depends on where you buy it. All the new cars at LNB come with it. But they do not come from the factory with it.

cake Report post Posted February 29, 2012 Mine didn't come with a T-80 either (from Lambo Sarasota). I keep it in the tool kit in the boot.
jhbchess Report post Posted January 25, 2013 sorry to bump this but i'm going nuts trying to find out of the LP570-4 lug is 27mm or 28mm thread length. and has anyone found a good lead for where to order the Torx wheel lug tool at a reasonable price? and last question, does anyone know who makes the LP570-4 lugs (if lambo doesnt make them themselves)? i want to get longer ones for spacers. ToofDoc Report post Posted January 25, 2013 Also would a 31 mm bolt be too long for LP560? OEM uses 28 mm ones.
rampante Report post Posted January 25, 2013 They probably do not supply this torx removal tool so you have to go to a dealership to buy a new tire(s). Three years ago .... I went to ten different tire/automotive centers and no one had that size torx tool.

I paid less than $10 for the tool from Advanced Auto Parts. I ran 5MM spacers on my last 570 with the stock lug bolts...no issues at all and the car was TT'd!
