Basstones Report post Posted August 20, 2012 What an amazing use of technology, also says a bit about the complexity of modern day F1 cars.

Saleenfan Report post Posted August 21, 2012 I love it when bits of tech get used for other purposes than what they are intended for.
Kerplop Report post Posted August 21, 2012 That's really cool. So they basically turned the car's ECU into different monitoring functions and use a datalogger, that's actually really smart. Who'd'a'thunk'it.
HannibalACP82 Report post Posted August 21, 2012 That is a really cool use for the technology. I also find myself surprised that Hospitals haven't been doing this before. I would have thought they would be constantly checking vitals and recording the info off of the beside monitoring machines in order to see a patient's history. Really surprising that this isn't the case or it isn't the norm for it to be at this level of detail.
