gemlender Report post Posted June 15, 2013 Steve at Driven Exotics sent me this pic today to get me through the weekend. The work has begun and the wait is killing me. But what a sweet ride it will be when she gets here
murcivu Report post Posted June 15, 2013 Very nice. Congrats, again. What are you having done?
gemlender Report post Posted June 15, 2013 Very nice. Congrats, again. What are you having done? New tires, the original ones are out of date now. Some new hoses and a seal is seeping. A 14yr old car with only 5714 miles, the car was not driven. Because of this and the age, some of the rubber is beginning to harden so they need replacing. Realign the drivers door and hood. New spark plugs and just a general clean up. It WAS a garage queen, but I have other plans for it. The previous owner saved all those miles for me to enjoy. :-). Frank-Goodson Report post Posted June 22, 2013 Since the engine is out, you should rebuild the starter and check the clutch.
Shamile Report post Posted June 23, 2013 Dear Lamborghinisti, Since the engine is out, you should rebuild the starter and check the clutch. The engine isn't out....just the intakes. You can remove and replace the starter on the 94+ Diablo's with the engine in the car. You have to remove the headers on the driver side and slide it back. I've done this. Clutch...well, that's another story Shamile
whiteout Report post Posted July 20, 2013 Congrats on the car! Since it's basically new, you should look into clear bra'ing the entire car.
gemlender Report post Posted July 20, 2013 Congrats on the car! Since it's basically new, you should look into clear bra'ing the entire car. That will happen as soon as I get it home. Old bra is coming off and new one going on. Full detail and clear bra. Progressis coming along, just trying to line up transport.
