Air intake

Remove the three louvered vent from the intake opening. Should be four very small Phillips head screws holding it in around the edges.

This will expose an 8mm bolt on either side of the intake. Remove both. Don't drop anything, they get lost forever and never come out the bottom of the car. If your hands don't fit in there, you may need to remove the other louvered vent over the NACA duct opening. Same type of screws to remove.

There are three bolts under the fender/rear quarter which attach the scoop to the body. Must lean way over the body work to get these.

Don't lean too much, you will dent the car. Never lean on the scoop itself. Again, don't drop anything, it will remain missing forever. Always protect the car with a cloth or soft towel.

Entire scoop then pulls essentially straight up.

Rinse and repeat for the other side.

When re-installing the four small screws on the louvered vent, be VERY careful not to over tighten. They can strip out easily.

Piece of cake!!!
