Can a admin give me upload permissions? I wanted to post many pics but the system would not allow it?

You can find pics in my Craigslist Ad here: http://fortmyers.craigslist.org/col/cto/4975115793.html

Please review my new post/ thread that I started with updated details about the car including the photos and questions on the 2 tops. There seems to be some issue the Admins are trying to resolve so I can edit my original post and upload photos that they have not been able to resolve yet if you read the Admins post above.

  • 2 weeks later...

For Sale: 2006 Lamborghini Murcielago Roadster (last year before the LP640 came out)

Black on Black with yellow calipers, yellow stiching

Optional Branding Package

Carbon Fiber Engine Cover & Brace Option

e-gear, 83% on clutch

Power folding Mirrors

Power Tilt System

Remote Locking System

15,500 miles (Just had 15k service)

Excellent condition, clean title, no issues

All service records available

Original Manuals

Car is in Florida (I have places in Miami and Naples so move it from time to time)

Comes with BOTH a quick frameless soft top that takes 5 minutes to throw on in rain emergencies and a Lamborghini factory top with the hard frame and supports that lock into the ports on the car.

Also available with EITHER factory wheels or a set of Asanti wheels which cost 10k alone as seen in some of the pictures depending on the type of look your after.

At just $145k this is the lowest priced 06 Roadster in the US with a clean title, low miles, proper maintenance which was priced purposely that way for a quick sale. Many of the same 06's, clean title, same options, etc are $170k - 190k on Dupont Registry, auto trader, etc so this is a very good buy and a good $20,000.00 to $40,000.00 less than those vehicles. A great opportunity to buy this car, drive it for a year or two , sell it and even make a little money. Car draws crowds everywhere it goes.

With 06 being the last year before the LP640 was released these are the best of all the original Murcie's that had various upgrades along the years to all the systems PLUS new added options like the carbon fiber engine package and branding package that came out in 06 which this car has. Those 2 options alone were over $7k of additional cost as you can see from the original window sticker in the original photos posted.

Would love this to go to a forum member.

Please know I reposted this new Ad with updated information that has been requested by many people inquiring about the car including additional photos. I talked to the Administrators because the system was not allowing me to update my original ad or upload photos so I hosted and embedded them myself for now. They said they were aware of this issue with the system and they are working on fixing it.

Thank You!

James

Crazy1 we don't delete classified ads. The replies from members often contain important information, as does the original ad itself. I've merged your 4 sale threads into one here.

OK - overall, you've confirmed with me that there has been an issue with the system and edits/uploads since I first tried to post my ad and your working on it and its with everyone not just me.

Since I couldn't edit my Ad to include information I forgot to put in when I quickly put the ad up as like the year of the car as well as upload photos members have been requesting since the system wouldn't allow me - I thought creating an all new Ad today with updated information and adding self hosted photos would solve this problem if you also deleted the old ad to keep this all clean and tidy.

I would have never wrote the new ad if I knew you HAD to merge all old revised Ads into one long thread rather than just updating the original Ad itself on your end since its become very confusing, long & sloppy now. It doesn't seem right that my corrected and newest, most accurate Ad is buried at the end of a long thread most will probably never even enter or work their way down to read since this has become so long???

Given the system issues originally faced, if I can't repost a fresh corrected Ad to have my one line Ad description that members first see in the classifieds at the root level to include the year of my car which I forgot, you also cant edit that original Ad either - are there no other options and I am just stuck with my original ad for ever at the root in an un editable state ???

Also - all the valuable old posts from members you mentioned were already deleted by one of the admins and have been down for days until you reposted those today - so why does all of that also have to be reposted if Im asking to finally help me just get a corrected Ad up even if we have to loose those posts?

Not trying to be a pain at all even if I have become one, but posting a simple Ad with correct information & photos as I have done a thousand times before has never been such a challenge for me as this particular Ad has been. TY.

I also forgot to mention as you can see on the original window sticker this car also has the high performance Ceramic Brakes and Yellow Brake Caliper option that came out in 2006 as well that was a $13,805.00 option alone that they didn't have in the earlier year Murcies.

Here is a list of all the options that came out in 2006 and this car has all the major items like Carbon Fiber engine package, branding package, Ceramic Brakes, etc adding significantly to the original cost & value of this car. This is the best priced and optioned 2006 Murcie Roadster out there for those looking to buy one.

OK guys & gals, this is it - I've had so many people contact me on this car and everyone seems to just be kicking the tires and not serious when push comes to shove and I don't have time to waste. I want to move this car quickly and save myself a lot of time too, so I will offer the deal of all deals on this Amazing 2006 Murcielago Roadster with a firm, final quick sell price of $139k!!!

Someone please buy this as I wont let it go for a penny less and will just end up keeping it otherwise as I wont give it away. TY!

Usually moved to General section to help you sell your car since that section gets more browsing traffic. GLWS

Based on your comments above and multiple PMs you're challenging to deal with. Your multiple ads were merged/deleted because multiple ads for the same item is a violation of rules.

I would suggest you stop messaging the moderators, and also get some assistance on how writing ads. Calling potential purchasers time wasters and tirekickers and telling buyers you won't move a penny does not exactly attract traffic to your item, but that's your prerogative.

GLWS.

"telling buyers you won't move a penny"

from my research this car is already priced atleast 15k below market, i think its priced right for a retail customer and i can understand the seller not wanting to go any lower. by the way good luck with the sale

Yes I am sure it's firm much like the 145k was firm to begin with. Everyone has their right to ask whatever they want, the market will decide if it's the correct price or not. Regardless, posting an ad and at the same time berating the potential buyers isn't very wise. People run hot and cold, sometimes when a deal is dead it comes back to life, why label someone inquiring a name? We don't know the dynamics of the discussion, we just see the seller losing his temper.

And big deal if he keeps the vehicle, he obviously needs the money more than the market needs the car, why include a comment like that? To each their own.
