Allan-Herbie Report post Posted May 1, 2015 So Ive been fighting with them for like 2 years to sell me all the pieces at once, and they will not do it, so I finally caved in and started the subscription. Supposedly in 2016, you will be able to buy all pieces at once, so Ill just buy 2 and paint one white. The model looks well worth the cost. The pieces and craftsmanship are very well done. Im going to hold off until I get several shipments, and then start to assemble it. The red Countach model in the picture to illustrate size is the Kyosho 1:12 scale. This is quite alot bigger. IanMan Report post Posted May 1, 2015 Glad to see that you decided to make the subscription! I was wondering if anyone here would. Are the pieces highly detailed? I was thinking about doing it. I wish it wasn't the WW Countach either, but it's still pretty cool! How much does it cost to get a subscription here? Thanks for sharing! VCR Report post Posted May 2, 2015 LOL, you finally gave in. Ironically, if you started buying the pieces from Japan, you would have been almost done by now. But I suppose it was my fault on talking you out of it.

Yes, I think it will look great, especially with the 1:8 Aventador I have, and Huracan that is coming.

SingleSeat Report post Posted May 22, 2015 Cool. But insane. Only the Japanese would come up with such a delayed satisfaction game plan on purpose!

VCR Report post Posted May 23, 2015 I believe the Japanese domestic version is almost done. Someone in Japan is going to list out the entire kit in the Fall. At quite a premium of course but it will be available (all the literature will be in Japanese though). The Japanese are notorious at subscriptions like that: either you collect and build something piece by piece each month or you collect one model out of the entire set/series each month. Quite sure they did that on a Ferrari (don't remember exactly but it was either an Enzo or a F40), a classic Rolls Royce and an Alfa Romeo. I believe they even did that for Star Trek's USS Enterprise too.
Allan-Herbie Report post Posted June 19, 2015 Month #3 is here! Only 21 to go! Haha... On a side note, supposedly within the next 3 months will be able to be buy all pieces at once!
VCR Report post Posted June 20, 2015 Month #3 is here! Only 21 to go! Haha... On a side note, supposedly within the next 3 months will be able to be buy all pieces at once! As mention in my post above, that's because the Japanese version is done in the Fall. A few people in Japan would have the whole set and ready to sell. It makes sense to make everything available as people either pay a premium and get everything immediately from Japan or they just give up. Better make the profit yourself while you still can than having it lost to elsewhere.
