kmb58 Report post Posted April 21, 2017 I'm putting some thought into having a crack at this car if it's available. As long as it drives straight, tracks straight under braking, and goes around corners like a car.... hey it's a Lamborghini Diablo. If my priority were to have the best performing car for this budget I'd be in a Nissan GTR with cranked up turbos and I'd be running 9.something quarter miles. Not my priority whatsoever. My priority is to have a Diablo. Which car is this? I watch eBay quite regularly. Oh hi, I'm down in Buffalo!

It's the "Rodman Roadster" Silver, t-boned on drivers side - I'm sure you know the one
kmb58 Report post Posted April 22, 2017 Hey there! It's the "Rodman Roadster" Silver, t-boned on drivers side - I'm sure you know the one Is this the silver 97 that has been listed for around $150? That is a gorgeous car and always wondered what exactly happened to it that would devalue it so much that it's not GONE at $150k. Then again, the market on these cars seemed to be extremely hopeful for a minute there and now super stagnate. I think I bought some parts from the owner of that car. I'd love to see what was considered "non repairable damage" on an all tube chassis.. I think non-repairable is very subjective. I myself have a car people considered non-repairable and am well on my way to proving that wrong..

As for the price though - I believe I have up to date info that the current owner bought in Nov 2015 for 92000. One could say that was the peak of the market as you have pointed out. If I could get that car for $92k, I'd be on the phone with a bank right now. Gees, November of 2015... I was just getting started on mine. Well if one of us winds up with it - we live close enough to each other that the other will certainly be able to have a go! 😎

del mar Report post Posted April 24, 2017 Didn't realize this was the latest post on the same car... The bumper damage that you refer to is the rear quarter panel indentation which happens when a hard hit happens, it's made to be a shock crumple zone on cars in general. Long time ago in college I had an accident where somebody hit me in the front corner and the rear quarter dented in because of the impact. Anyway - long story short, google Shamille's blue roadster on FChat and he suffered the same hit, it's in the lambo forum and a similar hit to the door and subsequent inspection proved there was irreversible (not cost-effective to repair) frame damage. Once again - too many questions to answer if it ever came time to resell... Shamille's car was repaired and made its way to the UK, lo and behold offered with no mention of accident damage..... del mar Report post Posted April 25, 2017 Link!? http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/lamborghi...ght-out-10.html I had posted the same on pistonheads. The colour and mileage were just too similar, for it to be a coincidence. There won't be many lhd blue/snow corn cars in the UK. thenewbruno Report post Posted April 25, 2017 Oh, the eBay ad from the UK is a year old. I wonder where the car is now.
