megachad Report post Posted October 7, 2015 i saw the video where the flames being shot out of the exhaust seemed to catch the carbon fiber on the rear on fire first.. If it is an aftermarket exhaust good luck getting insurance to cover that.

If it is an aftermarket exhaust good luck getting insurance to cover that. A very reliable source just told me that this is combination of aftermarket exhaust with NO CATS and sitting there revving while sitting. There is a fuel vapor dump tube on the driver side where it dumps the fumes and it is not a problem with stock exhaust. The catalytic converters don't allow you to shoot 5 foot flames but when standing there and fumes build up, and you are revving the flames will catch the fuel vapors on fire. Lamborghini supposedly placed the dump tube there because normally with cats in place its not an issue and when driving the air movement forces the fumes out thru the back. SO moral of the story is if you don't have cats don't sit there revving!
