BLK TONY Report post Posted January 13, 2016 Nice! Chargers might join too, but Rams will be playing in LA to start the 2016 season. http://www.latimes.com/sports/nfl/la-sp-nf...0113-story.html

Supercar Ace Report post Posted January 13, 2016 Thank god it's not the raiders. I support segregation when it comes to Raiders nation.
Smash Boy Report post Posted January 13, 2016 Excellent news. Rams play in the NFC West, not NFC Midwest last time I checked! Hopefully LA is a better NFL market this time around.
capt_chaos Report post Posted January 13, 2016 This is the American sport where they wear Helmets and all sorts of other protection right?
Smash Boy Report post Posted January 14, 2016 This is the American sport where they wear Helmets and all sorts of other protection right? Yeah. And they get a majority of concussions and brain damage compared to most other sports.
capt_chaos Report post Posted January 14, 2016 Have they tried testing the players before the match?

jhbchess Report post Posted January 14, 2016 LOL, the owners meeting was across the street from my office here in Houston and there were Raiders fans lined up outside protesting all day. (not my pics but these were the guys)
Smash Boy Report post Posted January 15, 2016 LOL, the owners meeting was across the street from my office here in Houston and there were Raiders fans lined up outside protesting all day. (not my pics but these were the guys) In an ideal world, they'll figure out how to get new stadiums in Oakland and San Diego. I'd hate to see either of them become LA, not because I don't like LA but out of tradition. LA Rams are a proper LA franchise. One idea Oakland might have missed out on was to play in Candlestick Park and build a new stadium right on the site of their Coliseum. It may seem sacrilegious to suggest that to Raider or Niner fans, but the Raiders did play at the Stick before the 49ers did (true story). With the Vikings playing TWO full seasons at a college stadium to get their own stadium at the old Metrodome site, it makes me wonder why the 49ers, Raiders, Chargers, etc. couldn't do the same. Plenty of college stadiums in those areas. St. Louis doesn't need a team. Baseball is enough for them.
MrDoctor Report post Posted January 15, 2016 All the raiders need to do is win games and build a new stadium. The market is there and it's huge.

Track Addict Report post Posted January 16, 2016 Great for our city. Been selling more and more properties down in Inglewood as of late. The multifamily space is seeing an uptick, and the city in about to look like L.A. Live in a couple of years.
Nuvolari612 Report post Posted January 16, 2016 Our city took too long to give him another shiny new stadium. Bottom line he didn't need to trash St Louis nor did the NFL but that's just who they are. Losing two NFL teams simply doesn't add up - we were just voted the #1 sports town in the US by the New York Times 1 week prior. Good for LA bad for St Louis - lots of people lost their jobs etc. our city will pay for many years to offset the costs incurred to bring and retain the rams. Bottom line - Stan lied cheated and stole to obtain ownership that's just what he does.
