Hi,

I must of missed something along the way of this thread as I tried to skip over all the drama lol.

I don't understand what you mean by scratches...etc..

What would scratch the tint and where?

I did 18% on my Huracan and I felt it was a bit light.

Thinking about doing 5% on my SV.

Has anyone else done 5% all around? Thoughts, opinions?

Thanks

You need to read through the thread. The Aventador/SV if you roll the window down, has a pin thats too close to the window when down. . and it WILL puncture a hole in the window tint a few inches down from the top (when your roll it back up). the dealer can fix it by shaving it down (or maybe they have a replacement). . but thats what everyone is talking about. .

Tint level - thats up to you.

  • 4 weeks later...

Can someone post a pic of the potential damage area to the tint please? I had on tinting on mine for over two months now but never roll down the windows completely due to this. Thanks

I wouldn't do any lines on the SV, they don't look good but as many said it's your car and you can do whatever you like.

Totally agreed :iamwithstupid:

It will only cost you few hundred bucks to find out :icon_mrgreen:

I can't remember seeing photos of the damaged film on LP.

I wouldn't mind doing that but the film job on it now is like perfect, the tinter is best I've been to. :icon_mrgreen:
