Aventador SV window tinting

I have great bussinness and yes we do turnover billions each day but how is that even relevant to this forum and to this thread?

It is relevant to show how full of crap you are. You claim you turn over $12billion a DAY! If your profit is only 1%, that is $120mil a day. If your profit is only 0.1%, then you still make $12mil/day. I don't believe your profit is only 0.1% because while it makes money with the kind of turn-over you claim, you would have gone broke before you reached those numbers. So it makes more sense that you make 1% profit or more to make it a viable business. But I don't believe it because if you were making $120mil/day you would not squabble over a $30k trade-in variation on your old Aventador and you would be on every single rich list out there. But you are not on any mainstream news (apart from customer scandals), just unheard of internet news channels.

My guess is based on the Casino numbers... Take this example.

 

Little old Mary goes to the pokies... she puts in $10 into the machine. Over the course of the next hour she plays the machine. betting 20c each spin. she loses some, wins some back, at one stage shes up $50!! but by the end of it she has lost her $10 and walks away...

Is it $10? is it $60, is it evey spin won and lost added up ($650)

at the end of the day, the casino took $10 in actual turnover, or takings... but their "turnover" is skewed.

 

My wife works in this industry. She will tell me they 'Turned over" $300k on a busy day... but their takings are really only $10 -15k.

My intent was to get legitimate feedback regarding window tinting, and that was the topic until two little boys hijacked the thread with personal attacks and smug remarks. If you take a look at all my posts they were factual and on topic until these children started acting like kids in a playground.

 

At the end of the day I will continue to post facts and commentis in line with the topic at hand and expect others to do the same.

If you look at all all my posts they are factual. High road or low road, I started this thread to get advice about window tinting and the topic remains open.

If done by the dealer, it would be covered by warranty. If you are truly worried, come down here for a road trip. Massimo has done every Av down here.

You have a great mechanic up there, arguably one of the best in Australia. I'm sure he will do it if you ask him a few times.

 

Mechanics have their own competitions, your guy and the guy in Sydney have been the only two Audi mechanics in the country that have ever topped the region and made it to the finals in Germany... Swiss and German guys allways win.. doh !

 

Take his advice, your in good hands but ultimately do what you want.

So no bolts have been replaced? Somebody else with a SV reported the same, no damaged to the tint, maybe Lamborghini addressed the issue.

 

Can you post some photos of the beast with the tint on? Mine was getting fully wrapped yesterday, they will finish it today, I can't wait.

Thanks to Fortis, I had the dealer REMOVE the glass from the door frame, tint it, while door panel was off, bolt replaced with new shorter one (from Lamborghini), and everything the put back together. no rattles, no glue on alcantara, no kneeling on the seats and most importantly, no tramp stamp scratch on tint when window is operated.

I used Suntek tint on my other cars which is ok, some people I know used 3M.

They wrapped with clear, I don't like dark tiny on rear lights.

The only reason that I chose Suntek is because it doesnt have a shine to it so dark tint looks darker from the outside. other films tend to be slightly more reflective from the outside.

I remember people reporting issues with the tint getting scratched/damaged inside the door by a bolt or something similar, is that still the case or was the issue addressed by Lambo?

 

 

Yes this is still an isssue its when the tinted windows are rolled down all the way. Both sides will aftera few miles get little holes bored out of the window tint caused by a bolt inside that is too long. Happened on my 14 Avy and now happened on my 17 SV. Thye were informed about this issue as well. Warranty fixed it and paid for new window tinting. Its so stupid. Now mine needs this again.

That sucks, I am sorry to hear it, my tint was done at the dealer and they removed the door cards when they did it and checked on the bolts clearance, it didn't happen on mine and I hope it stays this way, either way the dealer didn't charge me for the tint which I didn't expect but it was definitely a very nice gesture, the dealer was FANTASTIC to deal with throughout the whole process.
