IanMan Report post Posted March 14, 2017 It was the miles. 1700 total miles since new. That was the only reason. Not worth it to me if it still has to be restored, IMO. I know someone with a factory miles only CT.

Allan-Herbie Report post Posted March 14, 2017 On a side note, yesterday I took my Countach out for a nice drive. It was about 90 degrees out, car ran great, a/c on etc with no issues. I realized Ive had the car now for 5 years. Over that 5 year time frame, the only issue I had was with the circuit board malfunctioning ( simply due to age) and the repair cost was $700.00 . Apart from that the only maintenance its needed have been yearly fluid changes. Goes to show you that a properly gone through and maintained F/I car is extremely reliable. christiann Report post Posted March 14, 2017 I still have no idea why that car sold for so much when there was a double white on silver wheeled DD in I believe Switzerland for $320 at the time and it was in great shape. I had to do a full mechanical restoration on the Swiss car

No valve adjustments or anything like that? That's incredible! I know how often you take it out! I had to do a full mechanical restoration on the Swiss car You bought that one? So beautiful! Allan-Herbie Report post Posted March 15, 2017 I had to do a full mechanical restoration on the Swiss car And this goes to show you the difference between what you read is a perfect car, and what you actually get and then needs to be done. IanMan Report post Posted March 23, 2017 chris dugan restorations I saw they restored Joe's car. How long did the process take, if you don't mind me asking. Was it a full nut and bolt resto? I wasn't sure if they reupholstered Joe's interior or if it was someone else. It looked legit. I'd love to see more pictures of your car! IanMan Report post Posted April 4, 2017 i didnt want to start a new thread for this but does anybody know why i can only see the newest thread in this section? vintage lamborghinis i can page back for years and countach, this is the only thread that it shows me. I had the same problem. You have to go to the bottom right hand side of the section and change the view date to view all or to view threads posted in the last "however many" days. Hope that helps. I'll give it up...I was parked next to him and everyone was swarming over the Countach, over Any other Lambo, no matter what color or any SV Av Diablo or Murcie. Beautiful rear end! Redlambo Report post Posted April 9, 2017 Well, I'm disappointed I missed the one at Barrett Jackson today 1988 white over red Sold at $215k not including premium I will put this in the missed opportunity column It seems to have been an OK deal. However I think it would take another $40,000 to make it look good and presentable. It sold for $236,500 with the commissions so you would have $276,500 if you add the money to make it right. The interior.
topcabron Report post Posted April 9, 2017 I would be fine with the interior
IanMan Report post Posted April 9, 2017 Interior could always be replaced. I guess the main objective is just obtaining a car, then having it restored over time.
Redlambo Report post Posted April 9, 2017 I would be fine with the interior Sorry but I can help but think of the scene in Beverly Hills Cop.
