  1. I think it's mostly a cosmetic 50th anniversary thing that includes the 50th anniversary plaque and orange calipers/stitching. http://www.lamborghini.com/en/models/galla...#!slide/667
  2. I've been fortunate to own 3 Lamborghini's...a 2005 black Gallardo 6-speed that had a UGR twin turbo kit, a yellow 2008 Superleggera e-gear that had a UGR twin turbo kit and finally a black 2011 LP570 Superleggera that had a twin turbo kit...each was better than the previous, but with each, there was ONE THING missing...the color WHITE. I started the search for a white SL about a year ago, I wanted a virgin, and today, my search finally came to an end. Thanks to Raj at Lamborghini Houston my girl arrived today...she is a 2013 LP570 Superleggera Edizione Tecnica...likely one of the last SL's to ever be made in white. I am in love all over again, she is waiting to visit Kevin at Underground Racing...heheheheh
  3. Kevin's car Setting 1 - low boost 1550 whp Setting 2 - medium boost 1700 whp Setting 3 - higher than medium boost 1900 whp Setting 4 - could cause a heart attack boost 2000+ whp Peter
  4. duhawks....stay patient, I have always wanted a white SL and after having owned 3 TT G's I realized, that I ONLY want white. I plan to buy one soon too. Peter
  5. A white LP570 SL is the ultimate car....I can't stand the bonnet on the STS...so ugly IMO Peter
  6. I pray that the new G looks like that....cause then my SL will appreciate big time!!!!! Peter
  7. 189 in the 1/2 mile on setting 3....1140 whp
  8. Pete have you gotten the car yet? Peter
  9. Rookie! My car made 1327 on the dyno at the same boost as yours made 1293. Kevin turned mine down to 1250 for the street and yours to 1248. Hahahahha
  10. I did the race heads!!! 1140 whp on pump...forgot to mention you should do those too, it's good for 3.8s 60-130...Kevin I will run 2's 60-130 in my Aventador TT. Peter
  11. Quit fuckin' around and do the stage 3...you will regret it now if you don't. Peter
  12. It's the most amazing car I have ever owned....you will fall in love...all over again! Peter
  13. It's about time you decided to step up to the "man's package" I remember the day you and I spoke, the day after the wire hit your account....and you said you were having seller's remorse. I felt bad for you, but only for about 29 seconds. hahahhahahahaha Welcome to the black LP570 stage 3 club!!!!!!!!! Peter
  14. Ahhhhhhh IC....I wouldn't consider that an official mph. I wonder what the fastest GTR half mile mph at a sanctioned event with actual timing equipment and verified 1/2 mile distance is (TX Mile, Houston 1/2, Chicago 1/2, etc.......)?
  15. They got the same mph from a dig as they got from a roll? And their method of verification was a vbox?????? Is that what you are saying?
  16. LOL at some of the responses (Joe and Mullet)......I did only 2 full runs today. 1. 1130 whp - my very first run, pump gas setting, 1-2-3 were perfect shifts, for some reason 3-4 I fell asleep and slapped rev limiter, I think this cost me 1-2 mph. I ended up running 189.4 mph on pump gas setting. I was happy with this run but dis-appointed b/c I know I had a 190 in her on my pump gas setting. 2. 1250 whp - KC added a bit of boost in 2nd gear as she was dead hooking the power on the pump gas map and my 1250 map had the same amount of boost in 2nd gear. Sure enough, that extra 2 psi of boost was enough to spin the tires through 2nd gear, that caused me to hit limiter for a split second before I grabbed 3rd. I grabbed 3rd and the rest was good....I went 196.5 mph on this run. She had a 198-199 in her had I not spun and smacked limiter. Overall I am VERY happy with UGR, I'm very happy with the car and the setup. The older G's need 100-125 or so MORE whp to go as fast as I went given the TQ of the 570 (direct injected motor), the gearing and the overall setup. The UGR cars ran flawlessly and I couldn't be happier with my 3rd UGR TT car. I drove her home with the A/C blowing cruising at 90 mph. What a great car, what a great product, what a great company. I think she has a 200 in her with less heat and humidity so I couldn't be more happy. Lastly, it always amazes me that UGR rolls up with 6 cars, all run great, one sets the world record, all leave with zero issues...UGR is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition. They build them, they set records, they are reliable, they always perform and their team always supports their customers..........
  17. No not Trust.....pretty crazy to see what this car did 100-150 with a passenger on crappy tires! Congrats guys Peter
  18. Smoky u running the 1/2 mile in Houston on 5/11?
  19. Smoky, car looked good at TI, why didn't you run it? What kit do you have? For the record, UGR has already done the R&D, already done the dyno game, already done the 1/4 mile ET record, already done the 1/4 mile MPH record, already done the TX Mile, already done more builds (probably 2-3 times as many as all the other tuners combined)......you catch my drift. Bottom line is if you want all of support from a company that has done these things AND all the while retain value in your build, UGR is the way to go. I've had 3 of these things and let me assure the value retention that I've experienced has been nothing short of astonishing. Wish the OP best of luck... Peter
  20. Ray that sucks man!!!!! I hate hearing stories like this. I always ship through UGR as the broker they use is very good about making sure the insurance policy covers more than the anticipated load. As a general rule $1.0M policy minimum.
  21. It's easy to draw conclusions when you're not there, but to put it in perspective, you hit the nail on the head Kevin. I've known Bob for 15 years now and the wreck he had a year ago kept him in ICU and the hospital for a month. That win was a driver's win, obviously NOT a car win...doesn't change the outcome but it does put it in perspective. Peter
