I have 6870 on my heffner. I really like them. I'm pretty sure ugr uses them on most of their newer build. Great turbos.
-
I don't have a ugr car but I had 62mm turbos and sent it back to heffner and I got the 6870's. My new turbos spool within 100-200 rpm of the old turbos. Turbos are good to 1100 hp each. i really like them!

Awesome results! Thanks for posting. Keep us up to date on current results and especially when u flip the switch to setting 4 😬 looking forward to seeing how much faster it is👍 -
Congrats to all involved! With balls like Gidi, he is gonna need another car just to carry those things around😮 It's just out of control!
-
I look forward to reading a write up on the car and your driving impressions. Congrats on a great purchase!

I'm more of the cautious type. I'm sure everything will be fine but I would have him send me a copy of the title(front and back). This makes sure there is no lien holder and that he actually owns the car, meaning, no one else is one the title. I have had businesses own a car and two people on the title. If someone is going through a divorce or they are not authorized to sign the title, it can get complicated. I'm more of a handshake kind of guy. I would fly out for the day, check the car out, do a wire transfer while I was there, and then have him sign the title(take it with me); fly home. Then have him send it on a transport. No big deal. If you don't have time or you make more than a car is worth in that day; it's probably worth the risk. If your too busy, another option is: contact the lambo dealership that did the ppi, find out if they will sell you the car, with a handling fee($500-1000). They would basically be the middle man. Again, I'm more cautious. I'm sure you will be fine. Good luck

Congrats!! This is a great 1/2 mile stone😀. I would love to see vbox data on this run. 100-200mph has got to be nuts -

Anyone going to the Pump Gas Invitational?
utahviper replied to TarHeelBlue's topic in Archived Content
1600 whp on pump gas is crazy! I can't believe he hit 190 mph on pump. It wasn't long ago and mid 190's won TI. The speeds are just insane. -
There used to be half mile racing every month during the spring and fall. The speeds have gotten so crazy that only a few venues are safe enough for these speeds. I believe the next one of the potential record breaking venues is Colorado Springs in June. It should be an exciting year😊
-
I agree! I think everyone who has the record should have vbox or equivalent data to back it up.

Awesome event Peter! It was great to meet you And all the major players at the event. My car was too slow to even qualify 😢. I ran out of gear, plenty more power but it was right at the finish line👎. Gonna have to sell the gallardo and upgrade to huracan😬

Sorry I wasn't there. Not sure. I know the 1/2 mile markers were done by a surveyor. It was dead accurate for distance. -

Heffner and Ob prestige ran a best 241.6 in their blue car. The rwd car ran a best 223. Sounded like the event ran for more than a day due to the weather. Ob prestige has a video on their Facebook page. -
Shifting is faster as well. I would guess the car would run faster with the same power.
-
In another thread, ugr said it took 1300-1350 in a gallardo to go 200 mph. I'm sure they can chime in. Great to meet you John in Florida! We had a great time there
-
Thanks john and Mike, I will come find you guys. Not sure if OB is coming, they are on the roster. You would have to ask them or heffner. I also drive mine mostly on the street. I'll also have to drain the pump out of it.

I'm planning on attending. It's a long ways from Utah but we are headed there for the race and some deep sea fishing. 2006 egear heffner 1100 whp coupe. I would like to see how much faster a ugr stage 3 car is side by side if someone wants to have a friendly run. Also, would run any dp car as well. Just looking to have fun. I know I will not be the fastest but it should be fast enough. I'm coming there with my boys to get out of the cold for the weekend. My car is yellow. We are planning on being there Sunday only. I would love to meet you mike (Svoshop)if you are available.

Great meeting the ugr crew. They have got it figured out and left everyone else in the dust. No one was even close. Now they are just racing against themselves. What a show:) congrats to all involved 👍 It was a great event that was very well attended with lots of super cars of all varieties. Two of my sons hit 150mph for the first time, it was awesome watching them.

I would also suggest efi live from atp trucks in Idaho, talk to rob. I have a topkick 4500 with this efi live and have not had a single issue. I tow trailers all the time for work and play.
