  1. The dealer demos were done before the factory went on holiday, they were held at port/US Customs for 4 weeks. However, those cars have to remain at the dealers for a specified period of time before they can be sold because Lamborghini holds the Certificate of Origin back from the dealers which supposedly is part of a sale. Seems like all the demo cars in the Southeast are all Grigio Titans with red accents. I've not heard of any delays due to the Forged Compoiste on the cars? As far as I've been told, and my car is coming via the water not the air, is late October time frame. There were two or three colors that got delayed and i was told the more Ad Personam requests the more likely you are to be pushed back.
  2. I understand the similarity, but that MSO 720s your referencing had the two reds blend from front to back. This is a straight contrast.
  3. Thanks all for checking, as I was told, all Perf's delayed. Plastique999 - if anyone is getting there's pre mid/late Sept, it's likely you, as my GM mentioned that your dealer owner has very strong ties to the factory having worked there or been connected somehow. He said if anyone is getting a pre Italian holiday car it would not shock him for it to be Newport Beach. Suspicion is that Lamborghini wants to hit a 2017 quota and is pushing 580 Spyders on dealers at this time. The line is heavily focused on 580 Spyders and will likely break before switching upon their return in September to MY18 Aventador S and Performante customer cars.
  4. Yes, lots of us going with the Loge center lock wheels
  5. Interesting, anyone else been notified of this news?
  6. Word is Performante deliveries are now delayed 60 days. I got a call yesterday relaying that it is a supplier issue but the factory will not specify. My GM speculates that it may be the result of an option that was selected by more buyers than Lamborghini anticipated. Regardless, I'm now late October/early November ETA. Anyone else gotten this news?
  7. I've got an Antheus car coming and was told September. I'm worried if it's not built before August and on in the water incoming then it will become a October delivery because of the "August" virtual month off that Italians take.
  8. If you do remove the Italian flag decal, not referencing the "Performante" script, do you all think it needs a strip of black gloss vinyl (Style Package) or matte black vinyl in its place to keep the angle clean with the all black side skirts on the car? I'm leaving mine to start because I do think it is a distinguishing characteristic instantly recognizable that it's something special beyond a 580/610, but I agree it works better on some colors than others and it is thicker than hoped for like the 570
  9. Perf will definitely depreciate over time, mine more than others because I went with $21,000 Arancio Antheaus which is the new matte orange. If your thinking of flipping, I agreed 3-6 month window. Second batch of cars is all Q1 2018 from what I was told. Per some of the comments regarding dealers having availability, any dealer is going to say they can get you the car, they're not going to turn you away. The real question is the honesty in ETA. There are a few dealer putting out rumors that certain options are "delaying your spec car". Reality is, those dealers likely promised their "first car" to more than one customer to solidify a deposit, so it's a way for them to attempt/lie to gently let the ones down who are not actually first that your car will be later. Unfortunately, lots of shady dealings in the exotic car business. Find a dealer that you trust and form a relationship with long term.
  10. This has already been confirmed to be Novitec's body kit, they posted exact same car on their Instagram. SL is still a ways off.
  11. I hear there is two options now, Novitec or KW. Any feedback on which is better? Fabspeed photo rendered mine lowered, which certainly makes photos better, but I'm wonderin what it does to the Magneticorhelogical Suspension feature.
  12. DIY is all relative for those of us who are mechanically inclined. I'd order if you had any feedback you could provide on what it entails to install. Thank you in advance.
  13. That's a great point, the car is so low already, but the stance with the wheel gap could/should have been narrowed. I wonder if the gap has something to do with the adjustableness of the suspension between Strada and Corsa. Those of us who are owners or who have driven can attest to the variability of the magnetic suspension between Strada and Corsa.
  14. Thanks Matt. I know you've seen these photos. Sounds like cutting the stock springs is the only option at this point. I'm just going to wait and reconsider when aftermarket options are available.
  15. I love it. I'm coming from a LP570 STS that I loved and I'm just amazed because the Huracan is literally better in every way possible. I'm partial to the brand and have driven quite a few Lamborghini's and the Huracan seems to be both more refined and more performance oriented than all of them. Only driven mine a few times due to obligations and weather, but looking forward to Spring so that I can get it out more regularly.
  16. Thanks for the reference. I had viewed that thread earlier on but not gone back to it. From my understanding the aftermarket suspension/coil overs are not available yet so everyone is modifying the stock set up which I'm somewhat hesitant to do.
  17. I don't want a car purely for photos, I want to be able to drive it and enjoy it. Debating on whether or not to lower it a little. The last picture is a bad vantage point, gives the illusion of a larger wheel gap than is actually there. 21 in the rear on a 13 inch wheel with 325 tire fills up the wheel arch a little better than the stock wheel.
  18. I heard those who are lowering are modifying the existing springs, curious to know what that entails and the consequences to the warranty.
  19. Update... The race/sports exhaust will be a dealer accessory only, due to DB requirements in the US for new car sales. Was told they had a demo for it in Italy and it was amazing compared to stock.
  20. My Master Tech just got back from driving the Huracan at Imola, said the exhaust is an option that I need to clarify if it's a tuned option like the Aventador or a completely new exhaust system. He referred to it as the "race exhaust" option. I could not play the video on my iPad from the link above, but he confirmed that it sounds real good and will be offered so that Lambo can cash in on all these owners that change out their exhausts.
  21. Fortis - at your convenience after you've heard back can you post any information regarding these seats. They've obviously been equipped on a few press cars as I've seen them in yellow and red, not sure why Lambo would not include them as an option that can be ordered unless their just not read to be produced in quantity yet. As much as I want to get my order in, it seems a few items such as these seats and the transparent engine bonnet are making those early build slot buyers spec their cars somewhat alternatively.
  22. Beautiful Aventador, one of my favorite color choices on the car, just looks so sinister. I have Xpel Ultimate film on my Super Trofeo Stradale and they do make a film for matte paint that preserves the look of the matte finish that I have on the matte section of the front bumper. Regular film would give it a sheen that would take away from the Nero Nemesis (matte black) color. Enjoy, stunning car!
