  1. 458 driver doesn't have a clue how to stage or the light sequence. It really isn't that hard.
  2. It is. Same VIN in both ads: ZHWGU12T46LA02772 http://www.svtperformance.com/forums/showt...allardo-SE!! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lamborghini-Gallar...=US_Cars_Trucks
  3. I believe Lamborghini produced 100 in total for all markets, and something like 25-30 made it to the US. Congrats on your build. The 6 Speed will be a lot of fun.
  4. OMG! http://www.autoblog.com/photos/2015-lambor...#photo-2600745/
  5. There's actually something to this. Through all of this discussion and Kevin's responses, he hasn't denied it. Which will probably be interpreted as confirming it in the minds of the UGR naysayers. Not that it matters either way. UGR is undeniably king right now, and I'm a huge supporter. May be nice to have a little more transparency, but UGR doesn't owe that to anyone.
  6. If you get a chance, would you mind posting pictures and details on the cage please.
  7. Whenever I look at Reventon pictures, I'm amazed at how much it foreshadowed Aventador styling.
  8. You need to define your purpose clearly first. What are you going to do with the car? Will it be used to traverse continents, for mile runs, for boulevard cruising, for track days, for fair weather cruising, etc. Once you honestly answer the question, your answer will be much more clear. The F12 and LP640 have very different personalities, purposes, strengths, and weaknesses. Not to mention the plethora of other options available in this price range. No one can give you an honest, unbiased recommendation until you define your purpose and priorities.
  9. Nope, I am in no way affiliated with this sale. Just intrigued as it seems to be the very last of the breed. Rereading this though, maybe I should go into sales
  10. Look what popped back up... with all of 16 more miles since we last saw it http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lamborghini-Murcie...=US_Cars_Trucks Is it just me, or will this very example might be the most collectable late model Lamborghini in recent history? 186 SVs in the world, forty some odd in the US, only a half dozen or so in the world being the last manual V12 cars ever. To my knowledge there are three manuals in the US; Roy's car which will never trade hands, one that I thought somebody said has been gutted and turned into a track car, and this one. It seems like the most rare and future collectible you're going to find in the US.
  11. David, Can you share what you've done to the motor to sustain your projected big numbers? Sleeved, additional head studs, ect. Also, curious how much boost you think you'll need to reach your 2000 whp goal? TIA.
  12. Thank you for posting this. It's about time they started offering diamond stitching on the 700's.
  13. Agreed. This is the context that the 670 SV must be understood in. When they were first announced, I foolishly dismissed them on the basis of the heritage being dated. Now, with the Aventador having been around for some time and receiving some criticism for being too Audi-ish/tame, it is that "old-school" Lamborghini DNA that attracts one to the 670 SV. The manual examples surely only increase the experience. None of this should be taken as belittling to the Aventador; a wonderful car in its own right. The point is to understand both of them in their own context. The 670 SV (and especially the few manual examples) are the ultimate iterations of the classic DNA we all love. The Aventador is truly a 21st century modern super car with, I'll just say, an updated version of that same DNA.
  14. Yes, it is. "Bolt-on" in this context is generally anything shy of cracking open the stock longblock. If a UGR Stage 1 system has to modify any external stock components that wouldn't readily be reverted back to stock condition is a question for Kevin, though I wouldn't be surprised if it is a true bolt-on that could work for similar lease scenario. Now that I'm thinking about this more, that's even less of an edge that the VF system seemed to have in the one category that it did seemingly win. At the end of the day, I'd vote UGR Stage 1 over VF 760 if you're shopping that level. Everyday of the week and twice on Sunday. It seems the market almost unanimously agrees as well.
