  1. I hadn't spotted that & I've learned something new! Thanks gmendoza.
  2. I found out! I thought I'd add this here just in case anyone else ever needs the answer.
  3. Weird question, but does anyone know which cylinder is cylinder one on a Murcielago? I know the firing order & I know that bank one is on the right as you look at the car from behind. I'd imagine cylinder one is the furthest cylinder (closest to the transmission) but if anyone's come across any documentation, or has experience to confirm or deny that would be fantastically useful. I want to visually check the position of the missing tooth from the trigger wheel at TDC for an aftermarket ECU setup
  4. Congrats! Lovely car with some cool history.
  5. Yeah, bonkers money. I've now got a few of the pieces. I guess I was being a little optimistic hoping that a complete used shifter would turn up.
  6. Damn! I was under the impression it was an easy job too. I have my car on the ramp at the moment & I have no front diff, so maybe I really should tackle it right now! Thanks for the info.
  7. I'm looking for a manual shifter & linkage to hopefully answer the eternal question of converting an Egear box to manual. Has anyone seen a manual car breaking, or this part available? I'm struggling. Many thanks
  8. Good post! But you forgot the bit where your bodyshop drops the glass, you have to fit perspex lenses while spending the next two years searching for a replacement that isn't $3000.
  9. Mine did this. I resolved it by using penetrating oil in the keyholes in both doors.
  10. Awesome thanks! I'll take a look tomorrow (if it stops snowing)
  11. My LP640 heater blows fine (fan speed changes as it should) but doesn't have any heat until the temp is set to max, when it suddenly becomes red hot. There's nothing in between. Any idea's what the likely cause is?
  12. If you hold the right paddle will it stay in first gear? Mine had an issue with the bonnet closed switch that created the same symptoms as you are describing.
  13. I got a bit carried away at the weekend. Thought you may appreciate it (or be horrified )
  14. Fairplay Roy! I have never garaged a car over winter before. But must admit I've kept the Murcielago off the salted roads for the last two years and used the GT3 instead (on Michelin Pilot Alpin 4 which are ridiculously good btw) The issue is I've spent enough time underneath the LP640 to be paranoid about all of the nooks and crannys that salt could sit in.
  15. It's a good call! I've had my inner rear drive shaft bolts come loose. Luckily it hadn't bent or damaged the bolts, and I just re-fitted and torqued once inspected. I will be keeping a check one a year though.
