Autocar's Handling Track - Performante Inside
APB replied to SilverViper's topic in Archived Content
4 records, it is more than 2 sec faster than a LP610 at Balocco. Note that it is faster than a 720S and a 918 at the Autocar's track. -
Glad they noticed the complaints about the rear view camera from the LP610 owners. Performante's camera is way more HQ and better than the one from early 610s.

Finally! -
Heard it is sort of 12C situation at McLaren again. Just not as many cars involved as it was with the 12C. First hint towards that was poor press cars.

just heard the GT2RS beat the Performante ring record at 6.48

Did I miss something, but where is that 208 mph on the straight? Nevertheless impressive and congrats to Porsche. -

Sesto Elemento is considerd by Lamborghini as one of their one-offs specials. For the record Sesto isn't a re-skinned Gallardo/Murcielago or Aventador even though it shares some components with the Gallardo LP570 (both road and racecar). The only downside is that it isn't road legal, but I have heard that very few certain dealers offer a road-legal conversion (note: none in the States.). Then we had the Aventador J, which is pretty bespoke and epic. I can get behind these as one-offs that are unique to themselves and bespoke. The rest though... I hope the next one is more Asterion rather than Veneno or Centenario like.

Out and delivering.

These two pictures sum it up perfectly, nobody ever asked Porshce for data from their laps, but everyone lost their minds when Lambo did a lap. -

Rumors for now, though I expect it to be faster since it has more HP and more downforce. -
Updated Super Trofeo racecar.

So this will be revealed tomorrow, it`s called Huracan EVO.

Phase 1 prototypes. They already have a Jota, unless they name it SVJ or something along those lines. The "GT" moniker would fit, but I think they will shy away from it due to many other major brands using it for their cars. The car you are seeing here is quite far away though.

We all know that title belongs to this spec: This is a real spec, no Photoshop bullshit or wraps.

More info from M Reggiani: Top speed above 187 mph 0-60 in 4 sec or less Aims to be the fastest SUV around the Ring Also he explains why Urus isn`t just a reskinned Bentayga: http://www.motorauthority.com/news/1112665...ing-top-187-mph

So what is coming? AMG and Aston hypercars, which aren't in the same class. ZR1, do you really think it will be that much faster than the current Plastic mess-06 and Viper ACR? Lol, I remember people who said C6 ZR1 would do a sub 7 lap at the Ring before it came out, see how that went? At best 1,5 sec faster than the current Viper ACR if not on par with the Viper. I see only two cars being as fast on a track as the Huracan Performante, both have over 700 HP, both are Turbo and both are slightly more exspensive (and way more exspensive if you are going to spec it yourself). That would be the GT2 RS and the 720S. The new GT is barely faster than the 675LT (might be slower in some cases) and costs almost as much as an Aventador, yet customers didn't go ahead and cancel their orders. It's not about the speed and lap times anymore, it's about the experience you get from the supercar. Just because one is slower by 0.5 sec doesn't mean it is actually the worse car.

There were three ThethetheFerrari prototypes. 1st, Appears to be a red 458 underneath, was (and maybe is) displayed at their museum: 2nd, "The Engine bed" prototype, Grey/Blue (?) 458: 3rd, Closest to ThethetheFerrari we know, black, later with a white stripe on top. Also rebuilt and used as an FXXK prototype later: They seem to have rebuilt or finished the 2nd prototype which was for testing the engine. From that picture above of the V12 458, it looks to be the closest to the 2nd prototype (which was a 458 that housed the V12 only), even the color looks simillar.

Pardon me, but 2 sec off Plastic mess-06 puts it right up there with 918S and ACR on tracks like Willow Springs etc. This track has a lot of corners, I doubt those other cars you mentioned will be any faster here.

Nice numbers, another record in the box.
