  1. Is more exciting the right phrase ? There may only be three years in between the last and first sold but decades in term of design and tech...:-)

  3. With similar hp and 500kg less weight the outcome was less of a rape than one would expect really..... I would still take the Veyron any day of the week.....it is a much better car. Mine's a pur blanc please Also, these Gustav vids are never really convincing...in the last bout at the circa. 6.45 mark where the Agera steps on it losing traction, you can clearly hear that he doesn't punch the Veyron for a few seconds after to play catch up once the camera is back in...it's all bollocks.
  4. This car is going to be leagues beyond the LaF...imho http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DRcsIjvoLo
  5. Why has it got butt cheeks for a glove box....
  6. Odd that it follows very similar lines to the Lambo render... Now.....if it looked like this;

  8. Things have moved on....a 928 is tiny by comparison to most modern cars :-) The early P cars are dwarfs....:-)

  10. You haven't been Charlie Browned at all....your car is lovely !! I think they all look good in silver...... In fact I think they all look good. Full stop. Yellow:
  11. But the real deal......... & a classic movie intro :-)
  12. Just so sweet..... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxPBLrYO0rU
  13. Why do you say that ?? The first cars for sure. In so far as making a direct comparison with a modern equivalent....then I don't know about undriveable but certainly old and challenging in every period correct way !! Vic Elford raves over them once the glitches on the early cars were sorted. Derek Bell never stops going on about them.....which is fantastic of course !! Have you been to the classics/historics and spoken to any of the owners; they always seem ecstatic !? Perhaps it's a macho thing whereas they have a reputation and taming them was for the elite. Or some other bollocks....who knows. A highly successful car no doubt, an icon now. Vic joined a forum and discussed them :-) http://forums.autosport.com/index.php?show...=46864&st=0 http://www.9magazine.com/franchittis-drivi...orsche-917.html http://www.elevenparts.com/index2.php?f=rare / Pelicans are always linking auctions for the 917 bits..... if it was me this would be half the fun !!! There ared copmpanies in germany who manufacture modern historic porsche bits and bobs and so im sure it is manageable. Problem is the value and implications of risking the drives is more of an issue for the owners I would have thought ! The stuff of dreams in race or excellent replica guise
  14. Yellow is not the best on any arched variant imo. saw a yellow 400s recently and not my cup of tea...makes it less 'serious'; or perhaps it's simply that particular yellow does not suit the shape. I personally love silver if in an 'as new' shape as with the factory car...otherwise it becomes 'old' all to quickly.
  15. Here you are RomanD: Ansa: QS: Ricers... (for Allan)

  17. I have an early phone video somewhere of myself & Valentino talking about CT's in general.....he loves the 25th....he loves them all. In regard to the jibes on the 25th he remarked something on the lines of these people being just children..or similar I have never stated any particular model is best....if you read back through the posts I am clear on this :-).. ONCE AGAIN.....I am simply standing firm AGAINST the jibes on the 25th http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...VG0b-0rUE#at=32 'CAR magazine's November 1989 "Improved cabin with a little more room" is mentioned. "Little roll and wonderful grip" are also mentioned. "Eye catching styling has aged well" !
