Big congrats! 283mph is insane. Runway at Kennedy is 15,000' plus another 1000' of overrun. That's over 3 miles. Unless you want to run on a dry lake bed - this is the place that 300mph will be challenged safely.

I'm ready to roll. Put about 75 miles on the car today. Took my corvette mechanic for a ride and made him giggle like a little girl.

Dan - I wish you the best at getting this amazing project finished and I hope it runs better than you hope. If you make it to TX2k great, if not, totally understandable. Big projects always have delays. Chances are you'll make the runway event and that should provide the true measuring stick. No matter what - I'll run you in my Stage 3 SL ('08 - I'm just a poser).
