  1. This is correct, as the facts are, this car was sitting on the Docks in Florida, it was NEW and was headed for delivery. Some worker had failed to close the windows, why who knows...anyways the car sat for three (3) days through a terrible storm that happened that period. When they went to get the car it was completely water damaged inside. It was then re-outfitted by Lamborghini and SOLD via the Lamborghini Dealer network on Auction to high Dealer bid.
  2. The SCC car was a CANADIAN car to begin with. It did not have proper Customs paperwork nor a USA title..he had no choice BUT to sell it to a Canadian resident and ship it back up there.
  3. AND its 0-62 times are JUST as FAST as the Aventador, as well as its overall lighter weight.... according to many publications.. The SuperVeloce's V12 produces 670 PS (493 kW; 661 hp) at 8000 rpm and 660 N*m (490 lbf*ft) of torque at 6500 rpm, thanks to revised valve timing and upgraded intake system. The car's weight was also reduced by 100 kg (220 lb) through extensive use of carbon fiber inside and out. A new lighter exhaust system was also used. As a result of the extensive weight loss, the SV produces a power-to-weight ratio of 429 bhp/long ton. Also standard were the LP 640's optional 15-inch carbon-ceramic disc brakes with 6 piston calipers. In its June 2009 issue, Car and Driver magazine estimated that the LP 670-4 SV is capable of accelerating to 100 km/h (62 mph) from a standing start in just 2.9 seconds and on to 200 km/h (120 mph) in 7.4 seconds. Subsequent testing by Road and Track revealed a 0-97 km/h (0-60 mph) time of 2.8 seconds and a quarter mile time of 10.9 seconds at 208.2 km/h (129.4 mph). Lamborghini claims a top speed of 341 km/h (212 mph) when the car is fitted with an optional smaller spoiler, or 336 km/h (209 mph) with the standard Aeropack wing. According to Maurizio Reggiani, head of Lamborghini R&D, the LP 670-4 SV's steering was tuned for high-speed sensitivity. The original production plan of the ultimate Murcielago was limited to 350 cars, and cost $400,000 US (before options) pounds270,038 in 2009. However, only 186 LP 670-4s were produced before the factory had to make room for the new Aventador production line. Numbered cars 1-350 do not represent the order in which cars were manufactured. 4. Here is a Pic I took this AM as I was pulling it out for a Lunch run, next to MY 6 speed #12 White SV
  5. Here are my 2 cents...I know you want a White one..OK..well out of ALL of them out there for sale...mine is hands by far better..and here is why. 1) Mine we put BRAND NEW tires on it, not due to wear, but due to date code and safety..$2,300.00 2) Mine we did a FULL engine out MAJOR SERVICE including Valve shims new and exhaust baffels opened..because I believe these cars deserve the best attention. $11,820.00 3) BRAND NEW clutch, as we had motor out, so labor already paid for, just materials and its 100% $3,960.90 4) Activated the Sat Radio FOR LIFE, $144 a year 5) Replaced all clear bra (was installed when car was new-starting to yellow) with new Venture shield $6,520.00 6) my car has ALL OEM stuff that came with it, steering wheel cover, seat covers, car cover, etc etc etc.. 7) Mine is a ONE of ONE in this color..EXTRA charge on sticker for it. When it goes to re-sale, it will command MORE then your other SV multiple color cars. 8) Mine is FREE shipping to your door 9) You can WRAP mine WHITE or any color you want, (I wrapped my SV twice, once Brown and once Matt Yellow) back to White now and paint was saved and looks NEW! My guys here do the BEST WRAP in the USA IMO, never a Razor cut anywhere, all full pieces, and they have experience doing a SV!! MINE!! TWICE! Can have the whole car, including jambs and every piece of color wrapped for $8,500.00 Now you have the BEST car out there in the color you want...and when if you go to sell it, it will still be the BEST car out there and you can offer it for sale in TWO colors. HOWEVER, I think if you saw this car in person..you would change your mind on the color..it has to be seen in person to appreciate it>
  6. I used to own that car, sold it twice. Last owner I sold it to, from Texas sold it to Bret from Prestige...he went back to 599..Brett paid more for it then me, so I did not get it back. Prior to that came from a person I knew in Utah
  7. Correct, purchased by a person here in the PNW. He has already been to my shop ins search of multiple missing parts from the car. He claims he paid $68K for it from Co-Part. He did say the right front frame was bent, but he was sure he could repair it and get the car back on the road again. On his visit, he told me it was missing ECU computers, taillights, lots of interior pieces, lost of engine bay pieces, had some type of aftermarket wheels attached to it..etc etc etc...sounded like someone stripped it down prior to sending off to co-part.
  8. I always find a comment made, followed by "Bud" as rude and condescending...just IMO.
  9. Well, I can tell you, at least for me..we are NOT selling any LP670-4SV cars at less then $450K...everyone I have sold, and dare I say thats quite a few...have all been pretty darn close to our asking price...which has ranged in the $480K range. The 670 SV is a special car, due to its limited numbers... not to mention it is the LAST OF THE TRUE LAMBORGHINI heritage using the V12 block. I think the SV will remain were it is trading AND will rise as the years go on...yes it is that special of a car and the closing of a time never to be seen again for car builders.
  10. Not 1 mill yet, but pretty close..if its one of the FIRST S1 cars with the small gauges and the small steering wheel...and in mint shape and showing as born from the factory..I would say at least $875K plus..
  11. This should enlighten you my little grass hoper... LP400S Countach (237 Made 1978-82) There are three distinct Countach LP400S Series. Series One - The first 50 cars delivered with Campagnolo "Bravo" wheels in 1978 & 79. The very early 1978 cars had the original LP400 steering wheel. Small Stewart Warner gauges, 45mm carburettors and a lowered suspension (lowbody) setting is a trademark feature of this celebrated first series. Halfway through 1979's production, bigger gauges were employed. 50 cars were built and the last one is noted to be 1121100* Series Two - These cars are recognized by their smooth finish dished/concave wheels, and still retain the lowbody setting. 105 cars were built and the last one is noted to be 1121310*. Series Three - It is claimed that from chassis number 1121312 onwards, the cockpit space available was raised by 3cm. These cars are recognized by their raised suspension setting. 82 cars were built, and the last one is noted to be 1121468* AND OH HECK yea a Persicopa in this condition is easy worth 1 to 1.2 mill..IF you can find one this good... But of course this is all relative and only worth what each person thinks its worth and will pay for it....
  12. I think it depends who you ask, but IMO $750K plus
  13. Yes it was...but pulled from the shop in Florida and shipped off to George Evans to do it right..
  14. As some of you may know, this stunning 1981 "Low body" Lamborghini Countach S2, started out in Seattle many years ago. It was at a Pawn shop, where it had been pawned for some cash. When the owner did not come and get it back it was sold off by the pawn shop 60 day pawn slip. I cant tell you the selling price or you would all have a HEART ATTACH! Lets just say, most of us have this "spare change" in our daily accounts. At the time it was Black had the wing on it and did not run. It was in need of a FULL restoration and lots of LOVE! After being plucked out of my back yard, I never KNEW it was here...it was off to a new home. Well now, after multiple years and countless dollars going way over... into multiple 6 figures it is complete. From its full re-spray back to born with color, completely re-done interior, gauges, suspension, wheels, tires, electronics as well as a complete mechanical rebuilt as if to new from top to bottom and front to back by the fantastic George Evans, its on its way BACK to SEATTLE, Cant wait to get it. Arrives this coming Tuesday.
  15. Says the guy that would not let his go without selling for a RECORD AMOUNT!! AND made a good profit on it....AND does not own one currently NO SOUP FOR YOU!! Let us all know when your wife will let you come out and lay with the big boys and their toys again...I am sure we can find you a rental for the day LOL
  16. Correct, when was the last time you saw a modern day Lambo, (SV now 7 years old), STILL selling AT ABOUT ITS original MSRP. There was very few options for the SV and they had a MSRP LOW of $471... and a high of $505.... With ONLY 186 ever made, 42 to the USA and NOW approx 31 LEFT in the USA...it is for sure a car to collect and have. LAST OF THE TRUE V12 BLOCK THAT STARTED THE WHOLE LAMBORGHINI WORLD AS WE KNOW IT, NOT TO MENTION ITS ALSO THE LAST LAMBO THAT THE DOORS GO UP THE PROPER WAY !!!
  17. Yes, that car sold OUT of the Country and is now back. As a matter of fact, I HAVE the OEM wheels that came on that car when new. You can not JUST buy these from Lambo, they are matched with the VIN# and you have to show proof of ownership to get a set at $18,600.00, and THAT does not include the tires. I have my winter/snow tires installed on them. However I would sell them if someone needed them for this SV, be nice to mate it back up from where they came.. SUCH A SHAME WHAT SOMEONE DID TO THAT CAR...
  18. Thw White SV at CNC has sold just in the last few days. If you can find one, a DECENT one at $420K, please let me know, I will buy it. Our VI one sold and went to California. I just got in a 1 of 1 in Grigo Anteras, 6400 miles, new tires, clutch at over 92%, all the options....I would be open to a good deal for a quick sale prior to advertising...you know how to contact me.
  19. Thanks for this, I had wrong info..so it looks like $326,700 with 10% buyers fee added in...
  20. I guess I have been real lucky with my own cars. I agree there are always some story's to be told about a car, but I still think there are a lot less storys then good examples out in the world. Seems like negative stuff ALWAYS gets the print and positive stuff not so much.
  21. i MUST SAY..it amazes me that everyone gets scarred of miles on a $350K plus machine...start asking "what major mechanicalo engine work you do at 20K",.... I mean WTF....do you ask if your 25K toyota had its engine rebuilt at 25K miles, HELL NO, it goes 300K miles EVEN when you beat the crap out of it... WHY THE hell does everyone think a $350K car, 10 times the cost of a POS Toyota wont last past 25K miles with out MAJOR MONEY to fix it??? These cars are spot on if serviced AND DRIVEN...not left to rot away in a garage on a lift.... Give me a LAMBO all day long with some miles...it will kick ass up and down the street on these 4k mile garage queens!! P E R I O D ... 43K on my 6.0SE JUST put a new clutch in this summer, and thats all plus tiresw of course 29K on my 670SV, never been stronger, not a single issue AND still on the first factory clutch AND IT WILL hang with an AVENTADOR ALL DAY LONG...Just ask the ones that could not shake me on the Italian Stampede recently and ended up pulling a lane over to let me go by...cant say the speeds as I dont want to go to jail LOL LOL
  22. Considering the last few comps on 6 speed LP640 cars...this price is not out of the neighborhood. We have the Yellow 6 speed that was totaled recently in LA...insurance paid out over $300K if I recall correctly. Then the Gold one that sold at Auction, $315K PLUS 10% buyers fee, so $346,500.00 Makes me think my 4,400 mile Black 07 with CCB LP640 Gated one that I have coming back in is a $375K car ...and Ed's VI car, 08, 8200 mile 640 with CCB and gated is a $425K car..??
