  1. Wow! Im very envious, more detailswould be nice How long did it take, parking issues, driving issues and pointers? Also would the v1 and jammers help? Im super interested as I am sure a tone of other members. A euro trip is a priority for me but doing the traditional stuff bores the hell out of me.
  2. Not sure what exactly what you mean interior storage, but remove the storage unit in the front bonnet you can fit a ton of luggage/stuff in it.
  3. Spoke to a local dealer today, not sure if all the info is valid or not. He said they are made in Canada only 40 will be made this year, 13 will stay in Canada and 27 will come to the states. No set price has been made, his guestimate was from 260- 400k. He said Galpin ford has one listed for 500k (which seems like a complete joke IMO, but there are always suckers). He said only 40 for 2015 Novemebr and another 400+ in 2016. Again info not verified. I personally love the car but no where near the 400k mark, but have to see the quality first. The older ones interior and seats did absolutley nothing for me.
  4. Cool vid, I went through alot of vids on your youtube channel and WOW you have been on alot of rallies. Great vids, keep it up...
  5. Anyone know where this car is realistically priced at and when it will be released?
  6. Dude go rent one for a day, its a great car but nothing to spend your entire life savings on. If you are dead set on a lambo, buy a Murci its 1/3 the price and realisticly no deprecitation. IMO opinion you cant afford the car unless you can pay for it in cash. Last thing you want to be is a slave to a car payment, plus insurance, etc. THere are other ways to have fun and much much cheaper ways to get laid. Spend that money on a income generating business vs a depreciating asset/liability.
  7. Eric, great idea but I would like to make a suggestion of doing local run of a few nights ( and there are plently of places here in the states for it) before people commit to a 25K event blind folded.
  8. There is flossing and then there is over flossing. This is well over flossing. But still a nice pic! Edit: A signed book to you of the 50th Law (one of the best modern realty books ever written) would make it valid though..
  9. Missing the 50th anniverary euro run was dissapointing, I am sure there are a ton of Lambo owners in my same position. I dont care for the police escort, but soemthing along the same roads and a visit to the factory would be amazing. I am sure this is on LP would give us special attention at the factory.
  10. Ridiculous, just like any other comp. If FIVE people buy a car for that much, that is market value. Not some crack head drunk on ebay....(rant off)
  11. I would be down for this rally, but as Fortis said it would be cheaper to rent than to ship, plus the reliability/time of shipping a 12 year old Murci across the pond is debatable. I would be open to renting or shipping my 2015 GTR solely for reliability reasons. Exotic rental rates over there would help as well. Worst comes to worse, I can fly out there buy a new Harley and follow behind the crew. I know there are a few Harley owners on this forum who would be down for that. Realisticly speaking many LP members are here in the states, shipping a car is too much work. Find a local rental company and this will be a "realistic" trip. Money isnt generally the issues, the PIA would be. But overall its sounds like a good plan.. But seriously, the no "whore" thing is very unreasonable......
  12. With all this being said, I would love to setup a good local Lambo run (or non local run). No papparazi, no BS. Maybe a few days. I would be down for LA ,Vegas, MOAB (best place ever) and then back. 5 days max. Anyone interested PM me. All cars, but only good people.... I would be open to even longer events.....
  13. Awesome plan, do you have people alreadly lined up for this event? If not, what is the cost to ship a car from the states to Europe? To be honest, I am not a big fan of traveling but a run in a foreign country would be my ideal of a great vacation. Or even a good run here locally without the cameras and posting it all over youtube. Keeping things on the low pro would be a plus.
  14. Did a search on this thread last night and realized Jalopnik posted about it. I was VERY pissed when this happened, it seems a few of the forums I posted it on deleted the thread (some still have it). I generally let things go but the shit that happened and the potential liabilty/lawsuits/misery that could of happen that day I have to thank to poster for not taking down that vid. http://jalopnik.com/400160/witnesses-say-g...-show-otherwise
  15. That grey 430 belonged to another founding member of L4p and that rally, I was told.
  16. Sorry,I didnt type it up correctly. Fred is the one who blamed it on us and called the CHP not the RV driver. ELIM verified this with a phone call to him an hour or si after the accident
  17. This completely slipped my mind, another perk is you can get falsely accused of an accident that you didnt cause. This happened on the Gumball several years back. Me and some other Lambo owners were following the rally from OC to San Diego. Fred (one of the founders of Gold Rush Rally?) accused us of causing this accident. I saw this happen in my rear view mirror about 1/2 mile behind me, slowed down and then I saw Fred and a few other cars pass me and immediatley exit. They called the CHP saying there were several lambo that cut off the RV and caused the accident and the CHP put out a call to all officers to be on the lookout for these 3 Lambos. We got a copy of the call. Turned out to be a real fucked up day, had a long post about it here on LP but it is gone now. Forutnately this and another vid shows Lambos were no where near the accident. I will stay far away from these events.
  18. Congrats! Lp side vents and the wing set it off well.... I would suggest shortening the shifter a bit, helps alot.
  19. When I was younger I watched the Gumball Rally videos and I thought that would be on the top of my bucket list. But I have done my share of local one day runs and couldnt even fathom of doing a 5 day, 3k mile run while partying hard each night. I dont mind doing a 250 mile run, hotel and then going home the next day. But 3k miles , 20k, with the risk of a break down seems a bit out there to me. Maybe I am getting older or have the wrong impression, thoughts?
  20. V1 with a doubt, with the combo of jammers. I own 6 v1s and have jammer installed on all of them, including my Harley. Best $$ I ever spent.
  21. Awesome vid! Why the limited/none response from LP?
  22. This pic is priceless! If I recall correctly my oem tool bag on my Murci came with a spare belt and some white gloves in case of these emergencies. Is the Aventador the same? Not that I would have any clue on how to install it but I think I am going to try and learn after seeing Team Salamone. I cant believe the Gold Rush Rally started in my back yard in San Diego, literally 5 minutes from my house and I was out of town!!!! Anyways, best of luck!
  23. Amazingly my original remote is still good after 14 years (spare is in the safe) , but if my battery did die I would take a lighter to it and warm the metal before prying it open. I faintly recall a thread about this a VERY long time ago (Orange Murci on the east coast). Bottom line it is still a regular alarm remote. Replace the battery and you will be fine. Take pics when you do.
  24. Horrible story, generally any deputy/officer rifding a motorcycle is not a newbie they just specifically work traffic (they have a wheeled arrow underneath their side patch). He probably misread one of the letters on your plate and came back as a hit. I would say an honest mistake but a total dick move on his part to cite you on the infraction. I would have called him out on that. On the bright side, I would be glad there are some cops actually doing there job nowadays instead of avoiding criminals/liability (which some are doing). If you feel totally dicked over by a cop, have no hesitation to make him call out his watch Seargent to the scene. It might take a while but you will be heard and sleep better that night. At the end of the day Cops are human, they fcuk up and make mistakes too.
