since we have some new mods - is there a way that a list can be posted where it is easily found - or is there one & I'm too dumb ta see it? I know their name is highlighted in the 'who's on-line' section - I've seen it on some forums where the mods are listed to the side & hi-lighted when on-line - one reason - the other day I started a thread in the wrong section by accident & didn't see a mod highlighted so I couldn't get it moved then and honestly forgot to check later - MY FAULT!! if a list is available, then we can contact one a lil' easier - I'd hate to pm someone during their work hours over a trivial matter - another reason - the recognition they deserve !!! ~T~

Last year, after being on the Big 3 L sites here in the US & even one in Kuwait - I joined a site for all cars - I posted a pic of my Jalpa (yes Rakjo, I am an owner - besides being silly too) and IMMEDIATELY I was bombarded with requests for proof that it was mine - Well. If I was gonna lie, I'd post a pic of a C/T - what I really want but the type of proof they DEMANDED was mainly a pic of the keys or owners manual sitting on top of your engine - I sent copies of reg & insurance & explained that I could walk over to to Honda dealer a few doors down & ask to test drive a buncha cars - take the requested pics & claim I owned 50 Honda diesel tractors ( :finga: Ralphie-baby) - but they still wantet the pics - sorta insulted me, yet I realized that most of the members were in the late teens & early 20's , sooooo ... (their age is shown under their avatar - sorta neat) BOTTOM LINE - voluntary posting of proof - again I think papers vs. pics - as no one 'cept me wants to be seen on the net - or any combination - leave it up to the member - as has been said - posers, even good ones, slip up... and we ain't tooooo dumb ('cepting for the Limey) g'nite ya'all - ~T~

Romandad - that's probably Car-Domain or as I call it - Car-Dumbmain - I did a search for Jalpa's - remember they only made'em in the '80's - there was ONE real one - people put Mustangs, etc. under that heading and said "2001 Lambo Jalpa" etc. I wrote their admin & sorta got nicely blown off -"we TRY blah blah ..." :finga: :finga: :finga: jerks ~T~

Tommy - he DID say he tried to stop - that's a first sign - the old Alch.Anon. thing of admitting you have a problem - but, he came on as "W" & "I" - so part of the prob is still there - I'll admit that I wasn't as 'close' to him as some of you so the betrayal is not as big to me personally - but - maybe give it a little time & THEN decide - I to REALLY hate BS'ers - esp. on the net where it's so easy & you HOPE you can trust people in forums like this - I just think that, in this case at least, it might be worth a second chance - ~T~

woahhhhhhh - pretty heavy, but as we already guessed the truth, admission - I, too, am hurt by the lies - but as was posted per:Paith - people that confess & admit are usually forgiven - I think time will heal most regarding this & maybe he'll comeback as himself - SOME of the personality he posted had to be real & THAT is what we liked - not the material possessions!! take care dude & hope to see you again - ~T~

I like that idea - I've started using it in some in other forums also & it IS a time saver - I used to read all the threads too, but don't have the time now - altho I do try to catch up when I have the time - the site has gotten sooooo big - which is good!! For quick peek-ins, that would be a nice feature! ~T~

I also suggested the "Spell Check" feature awhile back - for a similar reason (P*****a) - other sites with the same 'program' have it - even F-Chat has it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :oops: ~T~

Compu-Serve aka udget AOL :butthead: :butthead: cheap $ & finicky - but I've used it for about 6 years & used to it - I also have Netscape & Micro S - which also have issues - I have Adelphia & Mozilla - which I might start using more as I get time to play with'em - I've heard good things about Mozilla - ~T~

mine has ALWAYS been intermittent - sometimes there is a long delay - I'll check one response, then a bunch of notices - from the day before - will hit the mailbox - other times, it's almost immediate notification - :roll: :?: :roll: :?: :roll: :?: ~T~
