OUCH!!! I don't believe it is a 722 even though it has the wheels... If you look at the front bumper it does not have the chin spoiler and looking at the front fender it says Mclaren not 722... Both cars are extremely strong, it looks like everyone is okay, thank god...

The doors do suck on the GT's and that is a very clever way to fix that. Is it possible for you to show the hinge so we can see how they fabricated it. Did you have any performance mods. done while at discovery??

When these cars were released from the factory, Mercedes-Benz was taking special orders on what ever color you wanted your 722 Painted. I worked at Mercedes when these were released and I had a customer interested in a white one. I had to verify that this was possible and it was. I hope that this answers your question

You need to add whatever makes you happy. A 700hp 996 TT does not sound all that bad. I thought you already had a 996TT in your garage??

I don't have one on order yet but I have been considering it. I rather wait to see if they release any other version here in the states... We will see, the car is not the best looking car but for a car to just play with and enjoy at 70K, the entrance fee is not bad at all.

My fathers 04 Gallardo engine blew and it was covered under warranty... Grant at Lamborghini OC took care of the claim. Lamborghini does not claim the car a total loss if the engine is the only "part" that needs to be replaced... That makes no since as the value of the engine does not exceed the value of the car by any means. In an insurance claim a cars repair bill vs. value of the car needs to exceeded by a min. of 51% for the car to be considered a total loss (and 51% is not always the min. it could be higher). If the repairs of the car do not exceed that amount then the car is not considered a total. If the engine blows and causes a huge fire and the car burns to a crisp then Lamborghini would consider the car a total loss.

The GTR is an amazing car!!! If this is a stock car and is achieving what it has done... The car deserves respect from each and everyone of us for what it is capable of doing for 70K

To be honest, yes it is about making money. Who are you, I or any company to say no you can not have what you want if it is legal, you can afford it, you are of age to have or own it ect..... It is not up to me or you to say no. I highly doubt that Chevy will enforce this or beable to. What will they ask to see a SCCA license to buy the car??? If the money is green they want it. Also with car sales so low why would they ever want to enforce something like this when they have the possiblity to lose revenue. There are dozens of cars being produced now that the majority of people that own them can not drive properly or safely, but they have every right to own. IF they put restrictions on this, what would be next?????
