VCR I have an idea, we can house swap for 6 months every year, you come here and use all my cars and I go there, that we both happy
-
Now this is what I was waiting for, somebody had to customize it before you can make up your mind on it's looks, very rarely a japanese car looks good unless customized, I love the white one but it has the wrong rims, it needs some Ray's gunmetal colored. I like it more and more, cheap, fast and now it looks good too!

That is just insane, I think I've found my new DD

Last time I looked at a 360 I walked away from the dealer with a brand new twin turbo Cayenne. While you are downgrading go to a 355 in my opinion looks 100 times better.

Thank you Olivier In my opinion Jota's house takes the cake but he is only teasing us with few shots

That's very nice I wish I could bring one here, what a deal! Good luck with the sale.

You funny Make sure you hire a builder to build it not the architect, the architect can supervise the project if you don't have any experience or you can employ a good project manager/site supervisor.
-
I know what you are saying and believe me I thought about it but we had a contract in place and nowhere in the contract said that I would design it and he would draw it I wanted to get on with the build I didn't want to argue with him, inspite of the fact that the columns are there the house still turned out ok so I am very pleased.

I can only speak about the dealings I had with this individual, every time I told him something he walked away draw it and when he would call me in to see the design it was totally different than what we previously discussed/decided, than he would proceed convincing me that his idea was better. I am sure his idea was better/easier for him but not what I wanted. Some architects want to create the project themselves with very little input from the client, the thought of them having a design out there that was influenced 80% or 90% by the client and them being merely used as a draftsman plays on their ego. It is I guess the attitude, I know better than you I am the architect, what do you know about it? You find it in many other professions. Good example about the dealings I had with this guy if you look at the photos of the interior behind the semi circular sofa, I didn't want any supporting columns on the floor behind the sofa, an engineering challenge but not impossible, I talked to my structural engineer and he told me that it wasn't easy but we could pull it off, the architect refused to complete the design if I deleted the columns he said that it would look better, the core of his design blah blah, I wanted the curved stairs to act like a sort of giant spine that connects the lower to the upper floor, that was one reason and the 2nd was that I love to jump on the sofa over the back of it Needless to say he was quite a pain to deal with. Maybe someone else can enlighten you what an architect is supposed to do I am sorry but I am not quite sure!

I had a lot of input in the design, I wasn't quite happy with the architect to say the least. I could always picture the house in my head down to the smallest detail but because I can't draw I had to use someone that could, the architect that I was using hated my input, he always drew it the way he though the house should look so it took me a lot of time and extra $ to get him to draw it the way I was visualizing it so it was quite a battle. If you like this one you will love the one I am building now The lady architect that help me with the design of my new house is outstanding! There is also a certain someone on LP that had some input on the design of the house I am building now, you know who you are Thank you I only have the basement done at this stage, I am building it using precast concrete panels, quite interesting, I enjoy myself so much building it!

Good luck with the sale Sprite, I am so sad to hear that you can't get a permanent visa for US, whom do they want in there if not a good business man that contributes by paying taxes and spends big by buying luxury items like you've been doing? Pack your bags and come to Australia I will teach you how to drive RHD

Love that car I would definitely buy one, unfortunately where I live they will more likely be $400k or close to it and that will sort of ruin it for me Can you imagine that torque? It is not nor will ever be a Lambo but on its own merits it sounds outstanding, I congratulate Audi for having the balls to go for it, diesel engine in a sports car! I know some people don't like the idea of the diesel engine, you have to experience it to be able to judge it. I think it will be faster than they claiming.
