I am getting ready to take the GMAT pretty soon here, I don't plan on going to grad school for a few more years but I want to take the GMAT relatively young while I still remember things. Personally, from everything I have read and know I think the number one more important thing business schools look for is work experience, second is your GMAT score and everything else is a distant third.

Creditors don't care if you pay your balance in full every month, what they don't want is you having more than a 30% balance or so on the account. So if you get approved for $10k, make sure that card stays less than $3k. I don't think this will be an issue for anyone on here... Either way, as long as you are making payments and don't forget and/or aren't late, you will be good to go.

Sprite- The best credit cards for building credit are store cards....Victoria's Secret, Sears, etc. Your credit limit won't be shit, but the important thing is to use the card every now and then and then pay it off. Also don't ever cancel whatever you get for your first credit card, lots of creditors look at your longest card open. Another option, since I think you are still relatively young, is have your mom or dad get you issued on their cards, and then every now and then go buy gas with that card. You can try the Citi Platinum Select Mastercard, but since you just care about building credit I would just go open a Sears card and buy some DVD's with it or something. Also be prepared to provide: a utility bill, some kind of way to show your income (I used a pay stub), and also some kind of way to prove your telephone number....they ask for this to help aid against identity theft.

Yes, I can't stress this enough. As someone who grew up in Idaho with a lot of small towns the best advice I can give is do not even go the speed limit when you are in small towns, go 5 under at all times. The cops in these towns have absolutely nothing to do, HATE speeders, and get a significant amount of their revenue one people going only a few mph over. A month or so ago I was driving back from TX2K10 and in two small towns, one in Colorado and one in Texas, the local cop on patrol for speeders pulled out from his spot and followed me through the whole town waiting for me to make a mistake to pull me over.

He turns around because the lanes split and/or because he sees some POS car coming in his rear view mirror at 1000 mph. Like I said, does anyone here have riding experience? There is no way in hell you are going to hear sirens over wind noise and your exhaust at 60+ mph. Police were given lights for a reason. I agree that the guy was driving like a tard and should have been pulled over, however the police should not have done it bad boys style.

How many of you have experience riding? I'm willing to bet the biker did not see the cop at the median at 1:05, and continued enjoying the ride. What I saw in the video is a douche bag cop in his daily driver, not an unmarked car, and a squad car without his lights on. How was the guy on the bike supposed to know to pull over? Then I got no pussy in high school because I have short man's sydrome mcgee jumps out of his car with his gun out like he is fcuking bruce willis or something and after 5-6 seconds he finally ID's himself. Bottom line is the biker should not have been riding like a dick, but those police are PROFESSIONALS and there is certain protocol that needs to be followed in order to maintain a safe environment, which they did not. Chances are that cops time is limited in the police force because he will either 1) be a douche to someone who has nothing to lose, or 2) his captain will see he is a loose cannon and cut him off.
