  1. Yes, Valentino will be there and Rich Antinucci (Indy car driver). Valentino was hitting 190 in the Murci SV at Daytona 2 years ago. It should be interesting to see if he can top 200 in the LP 700.
  2. For all the owners in Florida here is something that may interest everyone. www.italiancarevents.com
  3. Monticello was designed for lapping, much like Fiorano, Ferrari's Test Track in Maranello. It is a good track for a driver to work on technique, car control etc. It is also a good place to shake down and test a car, as well as to demonstrate a car. Having 3 or 4 cars in close proximity is about it. That is much different than having a full field of 20 plus cars aggressively racing each other, pushing harder into the corners to overtake or keep ahead of a competitor. Monticello was built as a Country Club for wealthy individuals to spend a few hours when they have the free time driving their cars at speeds not permitted on public roads. A place where they could go to, relax drive for a while etc. Instead of driving golf balls they drive cars.
  4. Monticello is a Test Track, NOT a Race Track.
  5. The color looks like Bronzo Scuro a color Lamborghini used in the 60s.
  6. Congratulations Andrew, I'm glad everything worked out. Now that you are not only club President, but also responsible for the all financial aspects of its existence. I have one piece of advice for you. Take a picture of yourself with Hair!
  7. The 250 Urraco has its problems and the 300s are rare. The Islero values are far above that of a 930 so that leaves the Espada or Jarama
  8. If you ask anyone that was a Lamborghini dealer when Vik was the distributor you may get a slightly different opinion of what he did for the brand. Some people still think the world of Bernie Madoff and that OJ was rightfully acquitted.
