imo, RX7's look best in lighter colours like white, orange, yellow. Maybe gunmetal would be an exception. Reds and blues and such just don't work for me on the body shape.

Why settle for just conducting, it can play all the instruments too.

Wow, even here in NZ we have them cheaper - theres several 360's for around NZ$170k - $180k (~US$85k - $90k). How much would it cost you to get one of these into Aus?

Are they the ones who gave you that "quote" of US$90k or whatever it was for your murci? All their listings recently started saying lease expiring stock must go, I am wondering if that means they're closing up rather than moving to a new location.

I was under the impression that there were no R34 GT-R Sedans built. There were for R33, but never seen an R34. Plenty of R34 Sedans with the RB26DETT swap though. Skyline != GTR.

My former employer had an 03 RS 6, awesome car, hell of a lot of fun, never had any major problems that I'm aware of though servicing costs seemed pretty high.

I hate to say it but I'm not that surprised. It's going to be a big blow to the WRC, bigger than the prior withdrawals of factory teams from Mitsubishi, Audi, etc, but it seems to be the way things are going at the moment. Hopefully we will see a number of the former WRC factory teams hit back in the future (personally I think Subi and Mitsi will both be back at it within a few years).

Do I think it's faster than the GT2? Probably not. But they also said the R33 should never have done a sub-8 minute lap. And it did. I think a 7:3x is realistic in a track-setup GTR.

I quite like the look, but really want to see it up close before making a real judgement, which hopefully isn't too far away until we get a few down this way. Waiting for NZ$ MSRP also, sounds like it's gonna be ~140k which is pretty good, the R34 was ~125k.

What are you after in a car - in terms of style / comfort / performance etc?

Wow, for $100k I wouldn't bother either - same logic for why he didn't go S600. The 350 to 500 difference that we were told here was only about $30k, hence made sense to go up. I'm sure you'll love it, and congrats Is it replacing any of your existing cars?
