Hovik Report post Posted May 17, 2007 Our own Gregg Brie's father has one. He brought it out to one of the Exotix Runs. Certainly a car you'll probably never see. I didn't see it in action, but was told that he was keeping up with everybody no problem.

LPDADDY Report post Posted May 17, 2007 I drove one a few years back.I can't remember what version it was but it was very fast and that is about it.Very cheap finish and plastic everywhere I wouldn't buy one.I think the novelty would wear off very fast

I LOVE IT and wish they'd build some. TrentS Report post Posted May 19, 2007 Does anyone remember some company back in the 70's putting a GTI body on a 928? Yep, I loved it. I wanted one of those too It was stretched/widened a bit, but looked like a Golf on the outside, with a 928 interior/engine/drivetrain... Very cool sleeper. Couple more pics... LPDADDY Report post Posted May 19, 2007 Does anyone remember some company back in the 70's putting a GTI body on a 928? I remember that very well.In the article there was also a story about how they blew by some exotic on the autobahn with the modified golf and the owner of the other car couldn't believe his eyes.I don't remember if it was a Ferrari.Hilarious in any case
