Agree with your accuracy claims but the point is that it doesn't matter really as no concept car will be given the greenlight for production. Which makes this entire exercise a waste of time. Just as the Miura concept was.

 

Also the timing of the only truly new next model, the replacement Murcie, is in flux currently. The changing management situation throughout VAG over the next six months will have a deep impact throughout all divisions as Piech is removed by Porsche brass. No long term timeline is in stone after today's politics.

 

 

 

 

4 doors: Thank you !!! And you are right, this is ONLY a concept which is also why no one has seen it testing. That is not nessecary so early in the process. The sources stated that this project is only 5 months old.

 

I was present during testdriving the prototype of the 4 door Porche Panamera earlier this summer. I really like it, has great sound and I can see many people buying it. Also pretty damn fast... But then the question, should Lamborghini produce a 4 doors ??

 

Don't worry I think that this will be a concept car ONLY. ESPECIALLY because I don't think Porche, as a new major shareholder via WW, will be interested in a competitor to their 4 door sedan.

 

 

Murcielago replacement: There is very very strong demand for the LP640 and they have just launched the LP560, costing them a lot of $$$. No reason to put a new model on the market right now. Business wise it would in my opinion be smarter to launch a "SV" first in order to prolong the lifespan and it seems like the factory agrees with this strategy.

 

So I think that we will not see a Murcielago replacement on the street before 2011 earliest, more likely 2012. So if you consider to order a LP640, go for it. Greatest and best looking supersportscar in the world, basta.

I'm going with MB, I reckon it will be a concept, not likely to be for production. The factory has told their importers that the SV will be at Geneva so I'm pretty sure this isn't it. It could be a concept of the SV (like the concept s was for the G spyder) but I think that is unlikely.

I also own Allan's old SV, too. He drove that thing so hard the brakes are still hot from when he owned it...pics of that when I get them off my crashed hard drive. KRD sold his also about 240.000 in 2008.. i think he buyed his new LP640 for about 550.000 EURO incl. Taxes..

i just doed it this time different i bought my 06 in Austria for 160.000 without taxes and drive it with Austrian plates in turkey to save money haha..

 

but if i think now about the outcoming SV will have a turkey price for 600.000 EURO that will be expensive..

If this turns out to be so, then I don't know if it is good or bad news... Because a SV is a good idea, but the price seems to be totally ridicules and only 100 units... no I don't like this strategy.

 

Can it be possible that they show both a concept car ( since it only is a.. concept car) and a SV in Paris ?
