that car would have sold far more units if it was equipped with a DSG type tranny or at the very least an iteration of Egear. nice car nonetheless

That car is SWEET!! Although, it was supposed to have 600+ HP, not just 510.

The concept 600hp version had a dry sump and no cats..it would have been nice though.

I wonder, how many people will choose this car over R8 V10?

Not many IMO. Aside from being pretty different vehicles, the price alone is enough to divide them. If the £140K price ends up to be true, that will be quite a bit more.

Agree. Somewhat similar problem as the R8 V10 however (but not as tough for Aston), not enough of a prestige brand to warrant that price in the US. Should be ok elsewhere however.

Finally! What a sexy beast, and in a real 6spd.

997 turbo sales will take a beating from this thing.

No they won't, this car won't make even the slightest dent in 997 sales. Porsche buyers have always been hardcore enthusiasts, they're not just gonna switch to an Aston because it's finally in their price range and has a little more power over the standard model. The 911 platform is tried and tested and the aftermarket is a huge portion of what drives the 997 Turbo's sales, this car is gonna get blown away by the Turbo in every category except maybe looks.

Looks nice. Good to hear, that the car comes standard with the 6spd :icon_super: Late model AM cars, are difficult to find with a manual transmission.

The GT3, is the way to go. That is the best modern performance track car.

In addition, the P car will be more reliable.
