Front looks like a Lexus GS, rear looks like a Hyundai or Honda. I'm sure if I drove it, my opinion would change - but I don't like the design changes from a glance... it looks too Japanese.

I was thinking the exact same thing.

From the front and back, it looks like 2 different cars. I love the front, hate the back....

I hope they make an AMG version of the coupe!

looks like Benz is hopping on BMW's "Let's make our new cars ugly" bandwagon. It's a Kia in the back, and a crashed Lexus in the front.

That about sums it up spot on except it's Japanese-8-years-ago/current-Korean.

I wouldn't pay over $60,000 for this car if that. Looks like a cheap piece of shit. Very plasticy interior, ford looking dash/shifter, etc. Way to fcuk it up Mercedes. Guess EVERYBODY is having cutbacks, because I would rather have the current C63 over that thing.

Probably cost over $90,000 with options.

it is very awkwardly shaped, but a lot of that is due down to them extensively designing it so it would have the lowest drag coefficient of any production car, i think it was any production car

That car looks about as awe-inspiring as an egg salad sandwich.

:iamwithstupid:

In that price range, or even lease range, I can think of a myriad of other DD's that look better both inside and out.

Look at the front drivers right leg, are those controls or inputs ala the G35??? :eusa_wall:

Did they hire an ex Hyundai or Kia designer? The interior isn't too bad, but the exterior is hideous... And this $90k+ thing is going to be a $50k car as soon as you drive it off the lot.

I would rather have the original 6.3. That was a "real" Mercedes.

If you want the best sedan, pick up an original 1970's 600. That was the best saloon built by man :icon_super: .

M.B., has built junk for the most part, over the last ten to fifteen years.

This car is horrible.

I definitely like the C63 better but this one does have some interesting technology...

The safety equipment on the E63 AMG is top drawer, including seven airbags, Neck-Pro head restraints, the PreSafe occupant protection system and a new drowsiness detection system called Attention Assist. Mercedes-Benz also offers such safety-related options as Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Adaptive Highbeam Assist, Night View Assist and Speed Limit Assist.
