isellpower Report post Posted July 20, 2009 Plenty of nice boats at 150K if you want performance and not so much a cruiser. 135K and under will get you a Cigarette Gladiator and a little more will get you an 03-04 TS Top Gun. I've also seen nice 35'+ Donzi's with 525's going for the 150's. A newer 36' Nortech Cat with big power and #6's went for around 175K a few months ago on OSO. Lamborghini built the marine engines for over ten years and won many championships I think it was like 8 out 12. The last year tho they had like 4 driver killed in crashes & costs so they dumped the program. The guy in charge of the marine side became one of are Lambo trainers very smart nice guy. He likes to talk about the marine days and what they had to do to over come air restrictions rules. I think the max opening for air intack was 67mm very small when you need to make a ton of HP. The best tho was one year when I was at the factory training we could here them run a marine engine on the dyno untill it poped. Just when you thought the RPMs could not go any higher you could here them bump it up more and more, you could feel the ground vibrating its was sick.
