PCJR Report post Posted September 15, 2009 As we all know the G car shares some parts with Audi. Wheel bolt pattern & center bore being one of them. My friends at AWE Tuning in PA loaned me several different width spacers and lug bolts to play with. The final results are as follows: H&R offers some different width spacers that will work on our cars that are listed as an Audi RS4 fitment. The only minor difference is that the outer diameter of the spacer is slightly smaller (135mm vs 150mm) than the part of the wheel that contacts the brake rotor. All of the correct diameter spacers (150mm) do not seat properly against the wheel... a big no, no! I attached a link below. Under RS4, all part numbers with footnote 18 WILL NOT WORK. http://hrsprings.com/scripts/appguide.php?...ak&MakeID=3 The picture attached is of my car with a 15mm spacer front and rear. I drove the car but could only get up to about 75mph due to traffic. I noticed no vibration or any odd feeling in the cars performance. Are you going to get the spring from Alex and lower the car? Please post more pictures of your superleggera!!!
nero Report post Posted September 16, 2009 So are those HRE wheels or something else? At first glance I thought they were the SL wheels.
kennyjr748 Report post Posted September 16, 2009 Looks great Pete! I remember you had spacers on your old Gallardo as well. I had some custom made spacers before at 7mm, then I decided that I wanted to space them out a little farther at 15mm. I contacted H&R and this is what they wrote me: Hello Kenny, for Gallardo you can use Spacers from Audi A6 4F or Audi A8. We often use DR-System 15mm per Wheel (3055571) with longer screws tapperd head. Screw must be about 15-17 mm longer than original one. Mit freundlichen Grüßen / best regards Julian Grothoff Kundenberatung / technische Entwicklung / Betriebswirt H&R Spezialfedern Gesellschaft mit beschränkter Haftung & Co. Kommanditgesellschaft I used the 3055571 spacer in the rear with longer bolts and I moved my original 7mm spacer to the front. So far so good! BadV10 Report post Posted September 16, 2009 All of the correct diameter spacers (150mm) do not seat properly against the wheel... a big no, no! Pete How do they not seat properly? Is it something that can be milled? If it's easy as that, I'll just get the 150mm and mill it to where it would fit properly. Heck I ought to just go buy some aluminum bar stock and just make my own spacers. If I could just buy the bolts seperatly. All of the 150mm spacers have a 45 degree bevel where the hub centric lip meet the ring. This is where the Lambo wheels differ slightly from an Audi wheel. I tried them on my RS6 wheels and they are fine. I considered having them milled or ground down but as anal as I am, I still didn't think it was worth it. I'll take a picture of mine and post it and you can be the judge for yourself. BTW, you can just buy thee bolts and they are cheap. Fronts dialed all the way down and a good bit down in the back. I used Ron's measurements and actually went a bit lower in the back. Kenny, Good memory! Thats is the same part number from H&R that I used front and rear. Nero, As you can now probably tell, factory SL wheels. How much are you willing to pay for an SL? Which color are you looking for? Are the ones on ebay over priced? Cheers!

PCJR Report post Posted December 25, 2009 Supa-G Still perfect with no problems to report. I have probably had the car up to 125mph with no vibration issues. Blackbull - many tuners like Ruf use spacers. I have used them on several cars for years and never experienced any issues. SUPA-G Report post Posted December 28, 2009 Thanks PCJR! I've had H&R's on my NSX with the longer studs with no probs. I only want them on the front as my aftermarket set fronts are not aggressive enough. My 20x12" dont need spacers Thanks again. Baptist Report post Posted January 10, 2013 I am against using spacers because of the damage they cause to the suspension. Interested to hear how they cause suspension damage? Porsche fit spacers as an optional extra, as do other manufacturers. Never seen a car with suspension damage due to spacers. PCJR Report post Posted January 10, 2013 What made you not doing 10mm up front and 15mm in the rear? See post #7. 10's where only available with 45 degree bevel back when I was experimenting. They will not seat onto the back of the wheel 100%.
brent95m3 Report post Posted February 11, 2015 Does anyone know what the part number would be for the 10mm front spacers that is confirmed to fit?
PCJR Report post Posted February 12, 2015 Does anyone know what the part number would be for the 10mm front spacers that is confirmed to fit? No 10mm readily available. H&R offers a 13mm with longer wheels bolts. I used 15mm on my '08 SL and it was perfect. When I use my stock 570 wheels I use an Audi 5mm with stock bolts. When I use my stock 570 wheels I use an Audi 5mm with stock bolts. Hmm...debating what to do. I have the OEM Scorpius wheels with front ET42 and rear ET52. Rear should be easy with a 15mm but I just think the fronts will push too far out with a 15mm. Any suggestions?

If u are concerned, use the 13's in the front, it will be fine. H&R also shows a lambo fitment of 16mm for the rears. The 15mm are an Audi fitment. RIPPERTT Report post Posted February 12, 2015 Pete , no issues with a 5MM on your LP570 using stock lugs? I have a set of H&R on the shelf I have not yet installed H&R PN: 10255571 Are these the same as the "Audi" parts you have ?
