TommyJames Report post Posted July 4, 2010 we don't copy! we are influenced, but def different if you put the two together. We haven't developed a larger wing yet. This is one of the most ridiculous statements ever. I'm sure Lamborghini has copyrights to their designs and there isn't a jury in the world that wouldn't look at this stuff and think you wen't attempting to make a Murcielago look like an SV. The rear is hideous in particular. For those of us who own SVs I'm sure none of us want the model cheapened in any way with tacky mods from any company and I don't care if you are a sponsor here, you're making our cars look like crap. We make dozens of posts about silly kit cars and to me this comes very close. Sorry if I offend some of the folks here as it's not my intention. It's one thing to do mods that are completely different, void of any branding confusion, it's another to try and rip off the look of their limited edition car. Sorry, but I think these mods suck. donnie Report post Posted July 15, 2010 I did fit the first Murcia cir.... It took me four visits to get it fit better. Brackets were made to help pull the pieces to the body.etc. I now know Kits are never perfect...The side ducts are the biggest problem for me now. I'd say I'm 80% happy with the fit overall. To start with I was less than 40% happy. I'm sure Hon has been or will back to ashop for adjustments.

Looks good in your picture and thats pretty good customer service if they are willing to help correct the fitting issues, theres nothing worse than a company that throws there hands up in the air after they get there money! donnie Report post Posted July 15, 2010 you fit the kit yourself... there is not much the makers can do to help...the pieces are what they are. I had to get two different shops to try to fit the kit. THe better the shop the better the fit....also the more time (cash) you spend will get you a better fit. I went in expecting an OEM fit...I now know not to expect that from really any makers body kits. If you want oem stay oem. I would probably still do buy the kit I bought even knowing what I know now. Hon probably had fitting issues on his old kit but still bought the SV kit knowing it will never be 100%. I have a mansory body kit on my bentley and it is 95% perfect... theres pros to these kits but also some cons.
DickSimmons Report post Posted July 15, 2010 Can someone tell me why an oem can get a perfect fit, yet no one else can? What are the manufacturers doing, that a specialized fabrication house can't do?

OEM perfect fit!! ROFLMAO! I see you have never attempted to fit anything OEM on any Lamborghini!!
DickSimmons Report post Posted July 15, 2010 OEM perfect fit!! ROFLMAO! I see you have never attempted to fit anything OEM on any Lamborghini!! Well, Lamborghini has no gaps in their bumper/hood seam. What's the problem then? All the guys here with the 560 front end have various degrees of gaps. Either their cars have warped over time, or the bumper is not manufactured with enough consistency or tolerance(?).

Either their cars have warped over time, or the bumper is not manufactured with enough consistency or tolerance(?). It takes so fcuking long and a damn good body man to get an OEM piece to fit. It's as if they aren't made on the same planet let alone for the same car. NOTHING bolts right up.

NOTHING bolts right up. Not when it comes out of the factory it doesn't. So what's the problem? Either the cars are fucked up, the part is made wrong, or the installer isn't installing it right. When they take off your bumper for service, it mounts back up in the same fit. Clearly there is a problem somewhere, either with the car or the part, and being that you don't model the car after the part, I'm assuming it's the part. The only other possible explanation is that the car itself has warped overtime.

I don't know if it does at the factory or not. I'm saying if you take off your bumper and put another OEM bumper on even on a BRAND NEW car, it will NOT bolt up.
