The "Lubys" massacre was the genesis of the entire CCW rights movement in The U.S. Unbelievable that two of the worst mass shootings in U.S. history will have happened in the same small city.

Wow I never heard about Lubys massacre until now.

 

After doing a search on it and reading the details it makes me want to carry my little 380 handgun more often, "LIKE ALL THE F_CKING TIME NOW".

 

Can you imagine the agony that Suzanna Hupp went through knowing that she left her handgun in her truck instead of bringing it into the diner while her parents were shot and murdered?

Crazy. I went to school not far from there and had friends stationed at Ft. Hood. I remember the Luby's shooting as well. CNN is saying that the shooter was a 39 or 40 year old Major named Malik Nadal Hasan...although Im taking that with a grain of salt at this point. If it was some sort of ideological attack from someone that high up in the army, then the question is, where do we go from there? Craziness....

I have seen 12 Murdered and 31 wounded which amazingly is 43 casualties the exact same as the Lubys incident.

Man that's so crazy either way you cut it. This is really sad.

My friend is stationed there and he says that they haven't told them any names yet.

His cousin says Islam was his religion, I wonder if he bought into the more extremist portion of it, which led to this...? This is going to unfortunately probably cause a backlash against the normal Muslim-American community.

 

EDIT: The shooter is not dead, but in custody!

First there was up to 3 shooters with one dead . Then there was one dead shooter. Now the 'dead' shooter is alive. Something doesn't smell right.
