stevenh766 Report post Posted July 28, 2010 pdanet- tether for free How has this ap worked out for you? I just looked into downloading it and it wants access to nearly EVERYTHING on my phone (read and send text messages, personal info, contacts, etc) and I'm not sure if I'm too comfortable with that. sk24iam Report post Posted July 28, 2010 pdanet worked fine for me, used it over usb and bluetooth for a few days. Also, I would delete advanced task killer. The android OS is based on Linux and doesn't need it. It will automatically exit out of anything you are not using, and notify you of anything that is currently running through the notifications panel. I know it has caused several people problems such as draining more battery than it is actually saving as well as killing the alarm from ringing. I know before I got my phone a lot of people told me to make sure to install a task killer. I wasnt that impressed with the battery life today at all(I knew it was bad but not this bad), Ill try getting ride of ATK for tomorrow. Jagata Report post Posted August 13, 2010 Just picked up a htc hd2 running windows but had gotten Android loaded as a second os. Man so far I am loving it. I have the large clear screan and Android to go along with it. The android build I am using is from the Sense which is very stable and almost every function works except wi-fi hotspot, but it's ok I can tether vis usb. The hd2 recieves HSPA speed in most parts of So.Cal so download speed is incrediable.
