Shame really as the NEW CLS is just perfectly meaty looking for a saloon car. Oh and that song, I find it so teeth grindingly bad that everytime I hear it I want to commit genocide. It wasn't "pointless" in the 1950's and it's sure as hell not "pointless" today! In fact over the entire production run of each, more 300SL Roadsters were sold than 300SL Gullwings.
