There is no AUX input for that type of radio, the casette tape wuth wire works good but looks tacky. You can get an aftermarket radioinstalled that has aux input ipod capabilities and all of that good stuff. Or I can't recall off the top of my head if you have audio 20 in that car but this is another option http://enfigcarstereo.com/DICE_I_MERCEDES_D2B.html it takes the place of the CD changer to allow for Ipod connection. Some other cars that it is compatible with have a similar style radio if I'm not mistaken. Again, I am not 100% sure as I don't have my books with me at the momnet. It does not come pre-wired and dealer say it cannot be done because of the electronics that don't match. I don't understand enough about that stuff to be able to make an educated guess. They have a new stereo with Ipod hook up, back up camera, that’s going to be a life saver. Along with suspension up grades, body work and a bunch more stuff. Just fitted a quicksilver exhaust system to my crystal gray coup. It sounds so f-ing awesome. Alas listing to music while driving is not an option. Problem solved. Thinking to do some engine upgrades, carbon interior and a few bits and pieces... Anyone know if the steering wheel with the paddle shifters can be installed on an 05 SLR?
