Great card!!!

Edgar should be fighting at feather. Henderson looked HUGE in the ring with him. That upkick would have knocked out most guys and KILLED the other half. Brutal. Kudos to Edgar for walking through that but he's way small. Being a natural light is great in that there's no cut but it's hard to be competitive against a guy who is 20 pounds heavier on fight night.

Yup....Edgar has ALOT of heart, but when you're with some real, raw, talent like Henderson - heart will only get you so far.

Henderson vs Pettis would be a great fight.

Check Congo - F off. You stink.

Agreed. Likeable guy Congo, but no chin. He needs to bow out!

...and I bet he will still weigh less than Bader at fight time.

I'm getting pumped up - told the new girl I'll fly her out to Vegas with me in 2 weekends if my bets play out in an attempt to get her interested about tonight

No Vegas? I made a last minute recovery bet after Lauzon got KTFO. At least you were right about Bader :)

i liked the main event. what heart Edgar displayed again. honestly if it wasn't for the big kick in the face, i think edgar would have fared better. i wouldn't mind seeing a rematch or edgar dropping down to challenge Jose Aldo.

Here's the crazy superkick from Henderson Pettis I in the WEC. Stephan Bonner's comments are hilarious :ninja:

Congo looks like he could beat up the Hulk, but I'm pretty sure McLovin could knock him out...

Forgot about Boetsch, WOW, never seen anything like that. Talk about punching power!

I think he has the most fitting nick name of all fighters.

Werd!

This card was stacked, loved pretty much every minute of it, but I can't stand Jake Shields, seriously, this guy has nothing.

I'm thinking of going to the next one in Atlanta. But floor tickets are like $800, not sure if it's really worth the money vs just watching at a bar.

I've been to a couple, it's really an all day event.

Hard to say if its worth it though - that being said, I prefer watching most sports on TV rather than live.

Some books have Bones (-600) and Shad (+450). No way should Evans ever be that far underwater.

Other interesting lines:

Dos Santos (-165)

Overeem (+135)

Velasquez (-400)

Mir (+300)

Silva (-275)

Sonnen (+215)

Incidentally, what sites are you guys using for betting?

I put some money on Evans at +400... Just throwaway money but fun if it hits. I use Bodog. What's good in the US? I spoke to Bodog and they said I won't be able to access their site from the US but I could call them if I wanted to place bets.

I use Bodog in the US - they recently changed it to Bovada or something like that.

Those are all very interesting line Porter, looks like I have some more bets to place

I've been to 4 events live so far, every time corporate tickets, and really good ones at that. Not floor, but always first few rows. I would not go on my own dime, honestly. Much better coverage on TV.

Maybe go once in your life to experience it...but I don't think repeats are worth it.
