I strongly recommended a full cage like his brothers Gallardo that we are building but he didn't want to as it will be used mostly as a street car. For now it holds the standing mile ET record at 21.8 seconds. It also holds the 1 mile mph record in this event at 263 mph. Keep in mind guys that this is a 100% street car. Tra1nEr Report post Posted August 6, 2013 so its a manual with the gates removed? yes, 100% manual, no flatshift. gates are removed, because with them you cant shift fast, it was always miss shifting from 2nd to 3rd gear. we do not install full cage, because this car is for everyday use. not good to go to the disco with cage in the car ) but for next event we install 5 point sportbelts. in next event we have bet on $100000 that car will pass 1 mile under 21.000 sec, so this should be interesting! thanks Underground Racing for this amazing build!
