Destructo Report post Posted October 23, 2013 Paging Ray! https://www.speedlist.com/cars/ford-gt-2005...69cd77195000001 Seriously though, how could one own this and only put on 168 miles. That's a damn shame. I'm not a fan of the center-cap two tone look, but to each his own. Regardless, with an arbitrary price of $285,777, does that seem a bit high? FGT experts can chime in on that one.

Scotty Report post Posted October 23, 2013 Note: There are only 51 made in this color. It is the color that supposedly Dan Gurney won in La Mans with the GT40. It is rare.

Rouleur Report post Posted October 23, 2013 Way overpriced. Car is silver, not the most desirable color. It is a 2005, not a 2006, people do care. It also states on the Monroney label that it has red calipers, which from the pictures it does not. This is not a 4 option 2006 car so it will not bring all the wood. The cars that are bringing the big money are the 2006 cars in blue, yellow, grey with all 4 options and low miles. That said, with the miles, you might trip over someone who has to have it in their garage.
ts640 Report post Posted October 23, 2013 IIRC that car was originally a cali car, and sold for something like 250,000 George Washingtons. Excluding the Zonda, FGT-CGT-LP670 would make for the holy trinity of V8-10-12 fun. All three are going to be legends. Peoples heads are going to explode when the FGT and CGT are trading hands at the same price consistently
LA_Brit Report post Posted October 24, 2013 Guys, what's the going rate for sub 5k miles on FGT's? I was looking at CGT's but have decided to move on the FGT instead and will be bringing it in from the US. Thanks.

A few minor growing pain problems with the very early production vehicles, nothing earthshaking or catastrophic. But a bonus is that only early 05's got the coveted billet A-arms as part of the Ford recall. The caliper option discrepancy is odd though. Did he paint them black to match his standard (nonoption) wheels?? And as a self-proclaimed FGT fanboi, even I think it's overpriced. Low mileage Heritage could bring that kind of $$. Would be unprecedented for a 'regular' color with only 2 options.
FikseSTS Report post Posted October 26, 2013 autonation just paid $195k for a 6k mile no option Ford GT and sold it for $204k 2 weeks later... Guys, what's the going rate for sub 5k miles on FGT's? I was looking at CGT's but have decided to move on the FGT instead and will be bringing it in from the US. Thanks.
