I am now a Lambo owner. My 1985 Jalpa was delivered on Saturday. Luckily for me, we had great weather last weekend in NY. I've attached some pics. Special thanks to Andrew Romanowski and George Evans for their help.

WOW! I think thats my old car! I sold it to George Evens years ago!

I can't say for certain. But the title is dated November 2008 and has the previous owner listed as John Braunsdorf of Indiana.

I can't find my vin at the moment. I will look later.

My car had a Sony stereo and the chin was repaired from hitting a hub cap. Look for the repair, it was a perfect split.

I also saw it on Ebay years ago with a different vin, But the car in the pic was mine for sure.

This car has an Alpine, with horrible sound. BTW, are there any do's or don'ts for replacing the radio and/or speakers? I don't know if I'll be able to find the repair, as the car was recently repainted. Original color was red.

Welcome to the club.

Thank you for the welcome. And thank you all for your participation in this forum. I subscribe to listserves in connection with my law practice, for the same type of idea exchange. This one is equally helpful, but much more entertaining.

I don't know if you would want the Bravos off of that red Jalpa. That car fell off of a lift & was considered totaled, although it was driven home after it fell. If Emery is still on this site, maybe he knows where it went after the insurance co got it.

Buy the aftermarket Bravos. Inexpensive and looks real nice.

That's really the only choice for that style. Eurospares claimed to have reproduction Bravos, but I never did see a single set. They don't list them as available on their site now. Lamborghini made 26 Jalpas with Bravos, all 1988's.

They still list them as "in stock" here: http://www.eurospares.co.uk/searchResult.a...mborghini+wheel
